On the bridge of the stripped-down Endless-class Super Carrier, the Neimoidia, Admiral Mar-Tuk stood before the holographic battle map, issuing orders without pause as he commanded the fleet.

Because this fleet was simply too enormous, commanding it required a tremendous amount of effort. The number of T-series tactical robots standing beside him had now increased to four, each assisting him in directing one of the four attack vectors of this Claw Formation—the four claws.

One might ask: wasn't concentrating such an enormous number of warships in one place wasteful?

But in truth, it was not that Admiral Mar-Tuk did not want to divide his forces for the attack. He simply had no other choice. The Commerce Guild Fleet's composition was not scientifically sound; it had too few capital ships, so it could only compensate for that shortcoming with a large number of Light Cruisers.

Moreover, the Commerce Guild Fleet under his command had its own hidden problems.

This fleet included 1,500 Undertaker-class Light Cruisers and 1,000 Osprey-class light cruisers. Those two models alone accounted for roughly half of the fleet under his command! The other newer warships included Raven-class heavy destroyers and Catalyst-class heavy destroyers, totaling around 500 vessels.

The rest consisted of the warships commonly used by the Kingdom of Dawn Navy: Valkyrie-class Missile Frigates, Javelin-class missile frigates, Garda Flak Frigates, Grizzly-class heavy destroyers, Star-class Repair Drone Motherships, and Blue Sky-class command cruisers.

The reason there were so many Undertaker-class Light Cruisers and Osprey-class light cruisers was, bluntly put, entirely the fault of Nute Gunray and San Hill.

After obtaining Caldari and Gallente warship technology from "EVE Online" through the Cooperative Alliance, they eagerly began construction on their own. They did not even seek the Kingdom of Dawn military's opinion, directly choosing their favorite warships and beginning mass production.
