The sudden betrayal of Glee Anselm threw part of the Galactic Empire fleet into disarray.
The attacks from the orbital defense installations and the self-destruction of transport ships carrying supplies could not pose much of a threat to the powerful Imperial-class Star Destroyers. However, this sudden upheaval only made things worse for the Imperial fleet, which was already under tremendous pressure on the front lines.
Still, some of the unluckier warships suffered even more devastating blows.
Why would warships still have transport vessels coming and going in the middle of a battle? There was only one reason—they had suffered severe damage and urgently needed emergency repairs. Thus, in this wave of explosions from within, those warships suffered even heavier damage. One Imperial-class Star Destroyer and one Victory II-class Star Destroyer were even critically damaged by the attacks. After losing power, they were captured by the planet's gravity well and crashed hard into the Planetary Shield!
The sudden change left some Imperial fleet warships at a loss. Those closer to the planet turned around one after another, intending to deal with the suddenly rebellious Glee Anselm—bombarding the Planetary Shield and destroying the spaceports that were still firing continuously.
This instead threw the Imperial fleet's formation into disorder. How could Admiral Mar Tuuk, supreme commander of the Commerce Guild Fleet, possibly miss such an opportunity? He immediately gave the order: All forces, charge!
Even with Gillard Perine's composure and restraint, he was now utterly enraged. He ordered Darsana, the governor of Glee Anselm, to be brought before him.
This time, the Imperial Stormtroopers showed no courtesy toward a traitor. They dragged Darsana over, threw her to the ground with a thud, then viciously kicked her in the stomach.
Darsana curled up in agony and cried out, "General! General! I've been wronged! I've
