The four Inquisitors were already struggling to hold out, and several monsters had left deep wounds on them. A bloated creature pounced, and just as one of the Inquisitors raised a hand and hurled lightning at it, the monster exploded outright!
Boom!! Countless jets of highly toxic pus burst forth! The Inquisitors cried out and hurriedly retreated, using the Force to try to keep the pus away.
But there was simply too much of it, and many other monsters were mixed in among it. They moved through the pus like fish in water, luxuriating in it as though they were bathing not in deadly poison, but delicious fruit juice.
The Inquisitors were completely unable to hold on any longer. The toxic pus sprayed toward Hydra, who stood in the center.
At that instant, Hydra gave a cold snort and gently pushed forward with one hand. All the pus froze in an instant. Not only that, the ice continued spreading, freezing all the mutated monsters around them solid within mere seconds!
The pressure on the four Inquisitors vanished instantly. They dropped to their knees with a thud, gasping violently. "Lord Hydra... thank you for saving our lives..."
"Useless." Hydra coldly tossed out those words and strode forward. At last, she intended to act personally.
Her figure flickered and vanished. The next second, she had appeared at the entrance to the hive passage. With a sweep of both hands, everything around her was frozen over. Yet it was still apparent that many of the monsters had merely been immobilized by the ice rather than frozen through completely. She had no intention of wasting her strength here.
