Sefrans Tann looked at the pale green silhouette of Parlin Minor on the holographic battle map, a cruel smile curling across her lips. She said coldly, "Thrawn, didn't you want to see the power of an Archangel-class Titan Warship? Very well. I'll satisfy you."
She raised a hand and pressed it gently downward, forcing out several words through clenched teeth. "Fire."
"Prepare to fire!" Deputy Commander General Trench slammed the pointer in his hand viciously against the console. "Tsk tsk tsk tsk..."
"Prepare to fire!" The firing order was immediately relayed.
"Energy Sequence stable! Kyber Crystal focus stable! Energy Transfer Guide Rail stable! Doomsday Weapon ready!"
"Fire!!"
In that instant, the dazzling light outshone even the stars! The terrifying energy gathered before the Archangel Titan warship was activated at once, and a brilliant beam shot forward!
The terrifying muzzle at the bow of the Archangel Titan warship had a diameter of one thousand meters! What did that mean? Some smaller capital ships could practically turn circles inside it! During the warship's construction, some engineers had loved nothing more than standing inside the barrel and looking up at the top, which was nearly too distant to make out.
And the focused energy beam fired from that terrifying muzzle was more than a kilometer in diameter! Only Kyber Crystals could achieve energy on such a vast and horrifying scale. This was also a shortcut taken by the Kingdom of Dawn's researchers through their use of Kyber Crystals. Otherwise, following normal research methods, energy scientists would need at least another twenty years to reach this level through focusing crystals.
Like the Particle Beam Lance, this was terrifying technology achieved through a shortcut, something that otherwise could only have been completed decades later.
This was the first time the Archangel-class
