Movements on Both Sides
Hutt Space, Eadu.
After fleeing to Hutt Space, General Grievous built his own military base here with the help of Hutt Grand Leader Oruba-Goresla.
Eadu's atmosphere was extremely unusual. Terrifying storms raged everywhere within it, containing immense amounts of energy. For billions of years, energy radiated by the star had accumulated there without leaking out in the slightest, turning the planet's atmosphere into a thermal layer.
Therefore, although Eadu was extremely far from its star—roughly the distance between the Sun and Neptune—the planet's interior could still support life.
The existence of this thermal layer, which absorbed most incoming energy, also made the planet difficult to detect. The Galactic Empire had once built a secret laboratory here to test super Energy Weapons. However, as the Rebel Alliance began erupting everywhere and Hutt Space started moving toward independence, the laboratory was abandoned.
Now, the planet had become General Grievous's secret base.
His fleet was stationed around the planet. Because spaceport capacity was limited, only a few damaged warships could dock, while the others were being resupplied by transport ships.
Beyond the interstellar spaceport, near the planet's synchronous orbit, several incredibly menacing structures had also been built in space. Their base color was black, with countless vicious spikes extending outward. The tips of those spikes were all blood-red, making them look like constructs straight out of hell.
These space structures were also enormous, most exceeding two thousand meters in diameter. Beams of light could be seen linking them to the planet's thermal layer. However, they did not seem to be absorbing energy, but collecting data and studying the secrets within the planet's thermal layer.
And now, General Grievous's absolute main force—fifteen Typhoon-class battlecruisers—was docked beside these menacing structures.
Without question, these were Vasari interstellar research centers. After discovering Eadu,
