G-Day...
For the Galactic Empire, this was another ordinary day. The people of the Outer Rim Territories were still rising up to fight oppression. So their wives and children could eat and stay warm, so the value they created through their labor would not be taken away by those black-hearted Tax Collectors, they did not hesitate to take up crude weapons and face the fully armed Imperial Stormtroopers head-on.
The people of the Mid Rim Territories were also busy with their grueling work. Promotions and raises were nowhere in sight; all they hoped for was to keep the job that barely kept them fed. They did not even have time to look up at the brilliant stars and dream of the romance waiting on the other side of the galaxy...
No. In truth, most people in the Mid Rim Territories never had the chance to leave their home planets in their entire lives. Sometimes, compared to the people of the Outer Rim Territories who lived with their heads on the line, life in the Mid Rim was far more dull and tedious.

The owners of companies and factories in the Inner Rim Territories were agonizing over the development of their businesses. Whether it was worker strikes or the predation of those Mega-corporations, both forced them to tread carefully, as if walking on thin ice.
Sometimes, they vented their anger on lower-ranking employees, or released their pent-up rage and lust on the female slaves sold to them. But when they looked toward the stars, they sometimes understood clearly that their fates were not in their own hands.
