Bilbrin Outpost Battle (II)
Fiery explosions erupted around Bilbrin Planet in an instant. An asteroid more than seventy meters in diameter was blasted into fragments! Molten rock and metal debris scattered in every direction.
These asteroids had all been converted into heavy Turbolaser Turrets. Based on simple AI judgments, they delivered devastating strikes against any unit that approached without responding to friend-or-foe identification codes.
For Bilbrin Planet, with its exceptionally complex spatial environment, the most troublesome feature was this vast asteroid belt around the planet that had been converted into turrets!
The Kingdom of Dawn Northern Fleet came charging in almost recklessly. With the Archangel-class Titan Warship as its vanguard, it led ten capital ships and fifty-five Heavy Cruisers to arrive first.
The moment it reached the outer perimeter of Bilbrin Planet's defenses, the Archangel-class Titan Warship opened fire with the eight Flagship-class laser arrays mounted on the disc structure at the front of the vessel.
The flash of X-rays was nearly impossible to detect, appearing and vanishing in an instant. Yet within that fleeting flash, an immense amount of energy had directly heated the targets to over a million degrees!
In the first wave of attacks alone, more than forty armed asteroids were destroyed.
Bilbrin's defenses retaliated just as fiercely. Thousands of asteroid turrets positioned in that direction swung their guns around and fired madly. Smaller asteroids carried one or two turrets, while larger ones could mount dozens. Dense firepower instantly engulfed the Archangel-class Titan Warship.
Moreover, Bilbrin Planet had been turned into a fortress world precisely because of its chaotic hyperspace environment. No matter how massive the invading fleet was, the hyperspace lanes could only accommodate so many warships at once, leaving the rest bottlenecked behind them.
Then, the Galactic Empire's defending Third Sub-fleet could inflict devastating blows
