"So you were completely useless?" Orman Tagge said with a cold sneer. "Then I won't see you out."

With that, he simply abandoned Kadan and turned to leave. As he left, he deliberately kept the communication channel open, switched off the lights, and left the Dark Prophet standing in darkness.

He smiled, then left with his apprentice.

His apprentice asked again, "Then are we going to the Kingdom of Dawn?"

"The future of the Milky Way Galaxy is uncertain. Where our own future lies requires further thought... and meditation..." Kadan said blandly, looking up at the vast starry sky.

After Kadan left, Orman Tagge began seeking assistance from the Imperial Intelligence Bureau. Its director, Isanne Isard, was quite cooperative. She assigned Wullf Yularen, who had just been promoted to Deputy Director and was both experienced and steady in his work, to handle matters related to Tagge
