The InterGalactic Banking Clan was founded by the Muun, whose original accumulation of capital came from ice gems produced on their most important colony—Makito, a planet. For a long time, the Muun had played a central role in the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Under the Clan's management structure, both the co-chairs and the Core Five were all Muun.
But that was precisely where the problem lay.
The Muun were a race from the Outer Rim Territories, and their homeworld, Muunilinst, lay in the Northern Territory. Although their civilization had developed early, they initially possessed little influence. Only after they occupied Makito did that change. This perpetually ice-covered planet produced vast quantities of high-quality gems, granting the Muun an enormous accumulation of wealth.
The Muun then used extensive credit, exclusive currency, funds, and other methods to play a major role in the newly established Galactic Republic. But even so, they still failed to truly integrate into the Core Worlds.
It was only later, after the Muun gained the support of Scipio and Aargau, that things changed. Aargau in particular lay at the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy's Core Worlds and was also the most prosperous planet in the entire galaxy.
Only then did the Muun move the InterGalactic Banking Clan's headquarters to Aargau and establish its vaults on Scipio, barely managing to integrate into the Galactic Republic's Core Worlds.
But inevitably, integrating into that circle meant dealing with the Human race, because after the rise of the Galactic Republic, Humans were the most numerous race in the Core Worlds. Aargau, for example, was in fact a Human-dominated planet. Its total population was 4.8 billion, the overwhelming majority of them Human.
Thus, Human influence gradually began to rise within the InterGalactic Banking Clan. And because the Muun kept the Clan's resources firmly
