Aayla Secura took Carl-Kestis and jumped straight out the window. Knowing how dire the situation was, Carl-Kestis gritted his teeth and followed despite the pain.
They had chosen this hideout very cleverly. It was not only ordinary and inconspicuous, but located in a neighborhood with neither too few nor too many residents—busy and cluttered, yet not so crowded that there were too many prying eyes.
Several routes led from here to different districts, crisscrossing in all directions. Escaping would be easy.
But the moment they ran outside, Carl-Kestis sensed many faint Force auras appearing around them! Those faint presences were closing in from several directions at once!
"Damn it! Ghost Agents!" Aayla Secura grabbed Carl and changed direction.
In the blink of an eye, she had disguised herself as a human woman, her long black hair flowing behind her. The Tusken's distinctive lekku were concealed beneath the wig. She also casually tossed Carl a loose floral outfit, a popular local style on Hoth Planet. Brightly colored and oversized, it gave off a relaxed, casual air.
The clothing, embodying the laid-back atmosphere unique to Hoth Planet—a prosperous rear-world far removed from war—hid her slender figure. Aayla quickly pulled Carl into the crowd of people strolling leisurely along the street.
The fluctuations in the Force drew closer and closer. Those Ghost Agents were clearly coming for them, and their target was precise.
Aayla said softly, "Don't panic. They won't make a move lightly."
Carl-Kestis tightened the clothes around himself, trying to appear more casual. In the distance, he saw several figures in dark blue uniforms moving along the roadside, their expressions cold as their eyes searched for something.
