"Alright! Broadcast to the barracks and order all Marines to lay down their weapons and remove their armor! Otherwise, I'll cut off the life support systems in the barracks!" Cassian Ando walked over and barked at Major General Roko Komona.
Komona's mouth twitched, and a flicker of despair and fury crossed his eyes. "You'll never succeed!"
"Wait!" Nova suddenly said. "They still have an Escort Officer! That person has the highest authority and can activate the transport ship's self-destruct system!"
Horror appeared in Major General Komona's eyes, and even his voice trembled. "You... how did you know?"
He was certain that he alone in the entire fleet knew about the Escort Officer. Imperial Navy Headquarters had informed him directly before departure! Yet Nova had exposed it in a single sentence, making him suspicious of everything around him.
"What? Who is the Escort Officer?" Ando slapped Komona's face, his expression savage.
"Don't ask. He doesn't know." Nova frowned. "He isn't on the bridge either. I sensed their thoughts when we came in."
"Y-you can read minds? You're a Jedi Knight? And you use a gun?" That was the only conclusion Komona could reach within the limits of his understanding. But he could not figure out why a Jedi Knight would wear such advanced combat gear and not use a Lightsaber.
"If we broadcast to the barracks, we might expose the fact that we have fully taken control of the warship. Then the Escort Officer may decide that the situation is out of control and destroy the transport ship." Cassian Ando's face darkened.
"Time is limited. Those Marines could break out at any moment!" Nova made her decision. "No warning. Cut off the life support immediately and kill all the Marines!"
