Two lightsabers clashed fiercely. Kanan Jarrus's lightsaber suddenly trembled—not because he was being overpowered, but because he abruptly realized that what stood before him did not seem to be a person at all, but smoke, a void.
He fully extended his connection to the Force and finally sensed that the blurry figure across from him was a young woman!
Clearly, her swordsmanship was inferior to his, yet she only kept him entangled and harassed him, never confronting Kanan Jarrus head-on.

"Damn it! Hurry! Get out!!" Kanan Jarrus drew his lightsaber and shoved Zeb into the maintenance tunnel. He then rushed forward and pulled Hera Syndulla, Sabine, Ezra, and the others over.
"Ezra! Be careful! There's an invisible person nearby!" Kanan Jarrus shouted as he covered their retreat.
However, they had clearly underestimated General Kalani's resolve. Explosions suddenly erupted amid the dense crowd! Screams and wails rang out without end. The crowd instantly boiled over, losing control as people scattered in mad flight in every direction. Trampling and shoving tore apart the last remnants of order.
