Battle of Scipio (I)
Ander Viking, clad in a black uniform, stood beside the Vasari general Kelslak at the center of a Keltu Destroyer's bridge.
The interiors of Vasari warships were also predominantly painted black. Paired with the red screen projections within, they exuded an intense, grim air.
"The Vasari respect the strong," Kelslak said viciously. "If you are not strong, then next time, you will be the one lying on the altar."
Ander Viking smiled faintly and said nothing.
Muun navigators had also arrived alongside the Vasari fleet. They would guide the fleet through the secret route between Makito and Scipio.
The Muun originated from Muunilinst, but they made their fortunes on Makito, a planet that produced crystal gemstones. Once they had put their business talents to use and expanded their trade across the entire Milky Way Galaxy, they naturally began moving into the Core Worlds as well.
Scipio was precisely the key springboard for their expansion into the Core Worlds. After entering the financial industry, the Muun established enormous vaults on Scipio, storing vast quantities of rare metals and credit ingots there as the basic collateral supporting their loans throughout the Milky Way Galaxy.
However, during the Clone Wars, the InterGalactic Banking Clan began to split apart. Through Palpatine's covert efforts to win them over, the InterGalactic Banking Clan divided into the Human faction, led by the Core Worlds planets of Scipio and Aargau, and the Muun faction, led by Makito and Muunilinst.
In the end, dissatisfied with the Muun's long-standing control over the InterGalactic Banking Clan's core authority, the Human faction suddenly made its move and attempted to seize control of Scipio's vaults.
But the Kingdom of Dawn acted decisively, raided the vaults on Scipio, and rescued the InterGalactic Banking Clan's core governing body—the Core Five.
