Among the Kingdom of Dawn's garrisons, the largest was the triangle formed by Fondor Planet, Kira planet, and Eriadu.
Fondor Planet and Kira planet were two salients, threatening the Galactic Empire's Draon defense line from two directions, while Eriadu lay behind them, providing these two salients with solid support.
Fondor Planet lay deep within the Milky Way Galaxy's Core Worlds, and the entire planet had been transformed into a unique ecosystem by Alexia Ashford's T-Veronica Virus. Its industrial output ranked among the top three in the entire Milky Way Galaxy. However, because the T-Veronica Virus had completely reshaped the environment, humans could not remain there for extended periods. Operations could only be maintained through highly automated smart factories and remote control systems.
As a result, Fondor Planet's garrison was enormous. On one hand, it was there to monitor Alexia Ashford; on the other, it guarded one of the Milky Way Galaxy's most dangerous industrial hearts. After all, it lay deep in the Core Worlds, surrounded almost entirely by Galactic Empire territory.
Thus, Fondor Planet's garrison could defend its own region if it retreated, or threaten the Galactic Empire's heartland if it advanced. The Imperial military regarded it as one of its core threats.
On the other side was Kira planet.
Kira planet had been built by the Galactic Republic in the latter stages of the Clone Wars as a military base against the Kingdom of Dawn. At the time, the Kingdom of Dawn had concentrated heavy forces on Eriadu, which was undoubtedly the main direction of attack. The Republic therefore developed Kira planet into one of the Milky Way Galaxy's largest military bases.
Not a fortress, but a base. Kira planet had not been on the front lines at the time, but it was not far from them and had
