Crisis Strikes
Cun Te walked over and said to Yuri, "So you're planning to head to the northwest district of Mos Eisley? I hear it's pretty chaotic over there."
"I like places like that." Yuri laughed heartily, then changed the subject. "Still, lend me that T-850 assigned to you."
"You and Vitaly are taking two T-850s and you still don't think that's safe enough? Didn't you say you liked it there?" Cun Te said with a smile.
"But I like staying alive even more. You have to be alive to do business." Yuri patted Cun Te on the shoulder. "Then, as agreed, we'll meet again in twenty-four standard hours."
Cun Te shook his head and went into a bar in Mos Eisley with Kunto and Feraci. He told Kunto that this trip was meant to find some business opportunities and let everyone relax a little, especially since they had just closed a big deal and made 100,000 credits.
Once inside the bar, Cun Te quickly found the same Twi'lek woman he had sought out last time. Familiarity bred familiarity, and this time they could be considered old lovers. After a few drinks, he and the woman soon got heated. One was dashing and flirtatious, the other coy and amorous; they embraced and teased each other, then unconsciously slipped away into a corner of the bar.
Once Cun Te had walked away, and his robotic bodyguards had left with Yuri, Kunto's expression immediately turned serious. He drained the blue glass of Sporchka in front of him in one gulp. The unique fragrance of Sorgan's signature phosphorescent shrimp filled his mouth, but he had no mind to savor his favorite drink at the moment.
"How did the earlier matter go?" Feraci casually took a sip of her drink, her eyes fixed on Kunto.
"Have you gone crazy? You actually plotted something like this with Kenneth! Do you know how easily this could get us killed? None of those Fourth Group people are good people! Didn't I tell you what happened when I went out on a job with them last time?" Kunto snarled in a low voice.
"So what? He's still a useless idiot whose lousy ship couldn't even beat three bounty hunters, and who had to beg a Jedi Knight for help in the end." Feraci sounded dismissive.
"But you can't go looking for Iron Tooth—Kuken! Don't you know what kind of man he is? He has ties to Black Sun! Otherwise, how could the Hutt tolerate a Hammerhead-class cruiser that huge wandering around near Tatooine?" Kunto clenched his fists tightly in nervousness. "No! We have to report this to the Administrator immediately!"
Feraci glanced back toward Cun Te. By then, the Twi'lek woman had already climbed onto Cun Te's lap. The two were wrapped up in their passion and had no idea what was happening here.
She snorted coldly. "Then what are we supposed to do? Let them take our ship and keep us on Endor like hostages? If you tell Tang Xiao now, he'll definitely kill me! Do you want me to die? I didn't leave Corellia with you to live like this!"
"Listen, Tang Xiao treats us well. Isn't it good to live without worrying about food and clothing, without constantly fearing for our lives? If we go now... what do you think Iron Tooth—Kuken will do to us?" Kunto growled under his breath.
Feraci frowned and thought for a moment, but she still stubbornly refused to yield, putting on a tough front. "It's too late anyway. I already sent the message."
"What?! When?" Kunto's face drained of color.
"Kenneth told me that the people at the second table by the bar entrance were Kuken's men. All I had to do was knock on their table three times. So just now, I..." Feraci seemed to realize she might have caused trouble, and her voice grew hesitant.
"You fucking idiot!!! Run! We can't let them catch us!" Kunto grabbed Feraci's hand and tried to flee toward the bar entrance.
But the moment he stood up, he felt an enormous force shove him back onto his stool! He turned his head with difficulty, only to discover that more than a dozen vicious-looking people had surrounded them at some point.
Kunto instinctively looked toward Cun Te's table, only to find it completely empty. Cun Te had left at some point without him noticing.
Meanwhile, in the hotel behind the bar, Cun Te was entangled with the Twi'lek woman in his arms, her body as seductive as a beautiful snake, while silently cursing, Iron Tooth—Kuken? A Hammerhead-class cruiser? FUCK!!
At that moment, the Twi'lek woman wrapped herself around him again. The pair of head-tails behind her head flexibly scratched across Cun Te's back as she whined coquettishly, "Darling, I lost again at those dice you taught me to play... I don't even have any clothes left to take off. What am I supposed to do?"
Cun Te instantly put on a different expression, grinning lecherously as he pulled the naked Twi'lek woman into his arms and whispered in her ear, "Then let's play a game of truth or dare. I'll ask you a question. Do you know Iron Tooth—Kuken?"
A trace of fear flashed through the Twi'lek woman's eyes. "Why are you bringing up that man? I'm so scared..."
"Just tell me, and I'll give you a big reward! Really big!" Cun Te blew into her ear.
The Twi'lek woman licked her lips before reluctantly saying, "I know a sister who's on good terms with one of Kuken's navigators. Should I call her over? The two of us sisters can..."
"Hahahaha... No, today, both rewards are yours!" Cun Te laughed loudly, picked up the Twi'lek woman, and carried her toward the room in the back.
But with his other hand, he sent Tang Xiao the recording he had secretly made.
At this time, Dawn Star Planet had yet to realize that a crisis was approaching. Work in every area was proceeding in an orderly manner. After receiving Professor Chi Jianjun, the Master Class Chief Engineer, Tang Xiao sent him to the "mansion," then returned to his room at City Hall to sleep.
But just as he climbed into bed, he suddenly heard a scream. "Help!!!"
The voice was not loud, but because he had awakened to the Force, Tang Xiao sensed it immediately.
An enemy!! Did some wild beast break in?
Tang Xiao sprang up. Without even bothering to put on a shirt, he leaped directly from the second floor and sprinted toward the source of the cry.
Before he had even made it halfway, he saw an old man wearing nothing but underwear running frantically toward him, clutching several pieces of clothing in his hands. Who else could it be but Chi Jianjun?
But he looked utterly disheveled now. His hair was a mess, and the strands he had combed over to cover the top of his head had all fallen down, leaving him with a standard horseshoe baldness—except the hair around the sides was especially long.
When Chi Jianjun saw Tang Xiao, it was as though he had found a savior. Clutching his clothes, he ran over and shouted, "There's a monster! There's a monster!!"
"Wait! Explain yourself. What monster?" Tang Xiao grabbed his shoulders and made him calm down.
