After the Ewoks joined the fighting, the Lottans' plans to wage guerrilla warfare across the planet were thoroughly crushed. The reprisals and purges that followed immediately swept across the entire world.

Millions were implicated and arrested, then sent to labor in harsh mining facilities. It was estimated that fewer than three in ten would survive.

But the Lottans were fierce by nature. Even under such circumstances, they still launched several armed uprisings. After completing their arrest operations, Huang Yehao's unit repeatedly deployed to fight the insurgents.

Huang Yehao and Cummings watched with their own eyes as the insurgents' weapons changed from rocket launchers and blaster rifles to pistols and homemade bombs, then to wooden clubs and machetes. Yet the resistance continued.

Their blood grew colder by the day, and their gazes toward the positions across from them became increasingly icy.

There was a saying that rang true: if you could not change war, then all you could do was wait for war to change you.

By September of 22BBY, the flames of resistance on Lothal and Hoth Planet gradually died down. No matter how deeply the inhabitants of those two planets hated their occupiers, they could only bury that hatred in their hearts. Order gradually returned. Workers, farmers, and administrative personnel all went back to their posts and began working under the supervision of droids.

While continuing to mop up the remnants of the 19th Army, the Fourth Civilization also began making targeted adjustments to its defensive forces.

Planet Kaal, once an important defensive line for the 19th Army, was no longer so significant. The Fourth Civilization began shifting its defenses northward to Kinyen, which belonged to the Gran. From there, it could contain the Republic 20th Army's restless movements while secretly supporting the Givin on Yag'Dhul.
