After this period of constant fighting, reinforcements, and losses, the Fourth Civilization fleet at Terminus Planet now had 84 warships.

These included 7 Sova-class Carriers, 15 Kohl-class Battlecruisers, 8 Hiigaran-class battlecruisers, 4 Munificent-class communications frigates, 8 Martha-class heavy cruisers, and 3 Luukri-Hok-class battleships—a total of 45 large warships.

They also had 25 Garda Flak Frigates, 12 Grizzly-class heavy destroyers, and 2 Star-class Repair Drone Motherships.

On the Republic side, there were 110 warships of all sizes. Their large vessels included 5 Acclamator-class assault ships, 3 Invincible-class battleships, 1 Prosecutor-class battlecruiser, 10 Hunter Class Battlecruisers, and 15 Dreadnought-class heavy cruisers, for a total of 34.

The rest consisted entirely of small and medium-sized warships such as CR-70 frigates, Corellian DP-20 gunships, Kallak-class light cruisers, and Aquitenes-class light cruisers.

Overall, the two fleets were evenly matched, and neither side could do much to the other.

Originally, under Matt Hona's command, the Fourth Civilization fleet had already dealt the Republic Fleet a heavy blow and held the advantage. However, under the command of Wilhuff Tarkin, governor of the 18th Army, the Republic had forcibly pulled its nearly defeated fleet back from the brink through its immense industrial capacity and a piecemeal reinforcement strategy.

They simply threw in vast numbers of warships and personnel, using lives and steel to buy time and give the Republic Fleet a chance to gather more ships.

Only after suffering even greater losses did the Republic Fleet manage to gain a foothold in the space around Terminus Planet. But in Wilhuff Tarkin's words, he could fully accept losses of five Hunter Class ships for every Kohl-class ship destroyed. The question was, could Dawn Star Planet accept that?
