The Clone Troopers brought Mace Windu over, and Master Windu finally saw this legendary figure, the leader of the Korunnai, Carl Vasto.
The burly leader spread his arms when he saw Mace Windu and shouted, "Welcome back, brother!"
"You call me brother?" Master Windu found it strange.
"We are connected by blood, brother!" Carl Vasto said heavily. He walked over and reached out, intending to touch Master Windu's forehead. "The jungle tells me: blood!"
Master Windu shook his head, stopping Carl's movement. "You wield the Dark Side Force."
"The Force lets me live! The light does not!" Carl Vasto said. "The Force, the jungle, gave it to me! I use the Force to protect the jungle!"
He raised his hand again. "Accept the family's memories. No darkness!"
Master Windu looked deeply at him, then nodded and allowed Carl to place his hand on his forehead.
In an instant, he seemed to see countless scenes! Fire, blood, slaughter... the despair and terror of surviving alone in the jungle... and returning from hell, comprehending a powerful Dark Side Force, and coming for revenge!
