Arc 33The Plague’s Last Flight
Sefrans Tann’s campaign with the Plague brought the Trade Federation under political pressure, while Tang Xiao expanded the Fourth Civilization and began reforming its navy. After a desperate battle against the Republic fleet, the badly damaged Plague vanished into hyperspace and later found itself facing another fleet with no way to call for help.
- Tann’s attack on Nubian Planet crippled Windu’s flagship, but Tang Xiao ordered her to withdraw as the raid provoked political backlash and the Republic assembled forces to intercept the Plague.
- The Plague escaped the Republic fleet under a cloud of Vulture droids, but Tang Xiao blamed Tann for its losses and ordered her to return the ship intact or die.
- Tang Xiao visited Drai II, learned of the Muur Talisman and the Protoss’ Force-engine research, then brought the research to Arroyo Barlow as he prepared the Fourth Civilization to return to the war.
- The Fourth Civilization developed integrated fleet shields and expanded its colonies, industries, and alliances while Tang Xiao warned Count Dooku that the Confederacy would lose the war within two years.
- After the damaged Plague was cornered by eighty Republic warships, Adi Gallia attacked the Republic fleet alongside Darth Lilim while Tann fired the ship’s overloaded railgun and ordered a random hyperspace jump.
- The Plague escaped, leaving Adi Gallia and Darth Lilim behind, and Adi later learned from Darth Malthael that a Sith Lord was concealed within the Jedi Order and chose to help bring the Plague back.
- Tann awoke aboard the ruined Plague to learn that two hundred Republic warships were nearby, then ordered the crew to approach them in silence because the ship could not contact headquarters.
