James Bond staged a scandalous night with Madam Besha and convinced her he was a Separatist spy who needed to be reported. After she turned him in, Coruscant Security Bureau soldiers arrested him and locked him in the Ministry of Justice Prison so he could begin his plan to reach Senator Tim.

• James Bond and Tosh discussed the prison’s security and confirmed that arrangements had been made for Bond to be sent there if arrested.
• Bond pretended to drink himself into despair with Madam Besha while secretly using sobering medicine to stay clear-headed.
• Bond confessed a fabricated story that he was a Separatist spy ordered by Count Dooku to rescue Senator Aynler Tim, and asked Besha to report him.
• Besha agreed to turn Bond in and promised to use her family’s influence to keep him safe.
• Coruscant Security Bureau soldiers arrested Bond and locked him in the Ministry of Justice Prison.

James Bond was held by the Ministry of Justice while Cad Bane and his team arrived on Coruscant to prepare an operation. On the Senate’s recess day, an explosion struck a warehouse storing cleaning robots, nearly destroying half a block.

• The Ministry of Justice kept James Bond in its prison while arguing with the Intelligence Department over which agency would take custody of him.
• Cad Bane arrived on Coruscant with Oola Sin, Embo, HELIOS-3D, and others, then accepted a secret operation backed by an unnamed important person.
• James Bond cooperated during interrogation, claiming involvement in the intelligence leak that had led to the fall of Hoth Planet, and secretly kicked hard fish bones into a corner of his room.
• Rush Clovis worried about his future as the scandal over the InterGalactic Banking Clan’s Endless-class Super Carrier investment plan continued to unfold.
• Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker went to the Republic Senate Building, while a delivery of cleaning robots was taken to a warehouse on Coruscant.

Count Dooku sent disguised robots to destroy Coruscant’s Energy Center, enabling Cade Bane and his group to attack the Republic Senate Building during the blackout. Chancellor Palpatine used the assault to summon Rush Clovis and revealed that Jedi Master Roth-Del Masona would impersonate him.

• Count Dooku ordered General Grievous to send ten disguised robots to Coruscant, and the robots entered the Energy Center using valid authorization codes.

• A prison sensor alarmed when a bloodied driver sped toward the prison, and the Commander ordered a concealed turret to destroy the Speeder.
• Gabriel Tosh inhaled Glitterstim and used a Voodoo doll to kill guards and destroy several laser barriers while an invisible sniper picked off more guards.
• Tosh infiltrated the control center and unleashed a psychic blast that killed its operators and disabled its equipment.
• James Bond escaped his cell with a concealed device, killed guards, stole a captain’s uniform and ID card, and led Guardians toward Ainlee Tim’s cell.
• Bond ordered the Guardians to open Tim’s sealed cell, but they explained that only senior prison officials held the keys, and the power suddenly failed.

James Bond helped Ainlee Tim escape the Ministry of Justice Prison amid a blackout while Cad Bane’s gang held senators hostage at the Republic Senate Building. As both crises remained unresolved, Jedi Master Ross Del Masona confronted an intruder targeting Rush Clovis.

• James Bond directed the guards to free Ainlee Tim and take him to the Senate aboard a medical ship as Gabriel Tosh devastated the prison.

• Tang Xiao explained to Ainlee Tim that the Confederacy needed to extend the war and forge a stable, unified regime, and Tim agreed to develop the plan despite its slim odds of success.
• Ainlee Tim made a prominent entrance into the Confederacy Parliament and rallied senators familiar with his political ideas.

The chapter left the Republic’s 30,000-strong mechanized force advancing on the Indjori, poised to attack the Fourth Civilization’s landing forces.

• The Fourth Civilization sent two mass-production Dawn's Radiance-class carriers into the isolated Eriadu system as its army continued fighting on Eriadu satellite.
• Ling Liang told Shen Yuanhao that the Republic was preparing an armored counterattack at Crystal Sea to protect the power generation center in Karina Crater.

The Republic command center learned that the Separatist fleet had moved out as Karina Crater’s defenders neared defeat.

The Republic scrambled to defend the Planetary Shield Generator while Sefrans Tann’s fleet engaged Wilhuff Tarkin near Eriadu. Ling Liang captured the satellite during a one-hour blackout, allowing its orbital defenses to turn on the Republic fleet as Tann launched her attack.

• The Republic commander ordered nearby forces to defend the Planetary Shield Generator after the mountaintop defenses at Karina Crater fell and the geothermal plant shut down.
• The Republic lost contact with the garrison at the Planetary Shield Generator, leaving the commander stunned.

• After the Republic shut down the generators, backup power began restoring the shield generator’s systems, leaving its outer defenses temporarily without heavy weapons.
• Ling Liang’s thirty thousand Caladanian veterans ambushed the Republic defenders, destroyed their searchlights and sensors, and breached the outer defensive line.
• The Republic defenders retreated toward their inner lines while communications were cut, then received orders to keep contracting the defense.

• A Salarian special-forces hacker activated the low-altitude Planetary Shield, causing Republic fighters to crash into it and cutting off communications across the Eriadu satellite.
• Sefrans Tann’s fleet arrived in Eriadu’s outer space, and the captured control center demanded that the satellite’s armed forces surrender within half an hour or face Orbital Bombardment.

• Sefrans Tann pursued Wilhuff Tarkin’s 18th Army fleet after Eriadu satellite fell, destroying seven Hunter Class Battlecruisers and more than thirty smaller warships before the Republic ships retreated to Eriadu’s high orbit.
• Sefrans Tann moved damaged starfighters and wounded personnel to Eriadu satellite and brought two Dawn's Radiance-class motherships into synchronous orbit to support the fleet.
• Twenty hours later, the Fourth Civilization fleet renewed its advance, drove back the 18th Army fleet, and bombarded Eriadu’s Planetary Shield with Ogrov Torpedo Cruisers.

After the Fourth Civilization broke Eriadu’s orbital defenses and forced the Republic fleet into the atmosphere, Republic leaders discussed the planet’s crisis and the wider threat posed by Dawn Star Planet.

• An engineer explained to Wilhuff Tarkin how intermittent resonance among the Durov-class Battlecruisers increased their combined efficiency and combat power.
