Yan Zhao let out a long sigh, as if all his strength had been drained from his body in that instant. He painfully dragged his body, which felt like it no longer belonged to him, step by step back to the giant stone.
He took a deep breath, channeling all his Immortal Law Power into his palm, then let out a mighty roar. With his shout, the powerful force surged out like a torrent, fiercely striking the massive stone.
The stone let out a dull thud and then began to slowly move. Seeing this, Yan Zhao's heart leaped with joy, and he quickly increased the output of his Immortal Techniques. Finally, with his unremitting efforts, the stone slowly shifted, creating a gap through which a bright light shone.
Yan Zhao's eyes were almost blinded by the light, but he endured the discomfort, staring intently at it. As the stone moved further, the light grew brighter, eventually illuminating the entire cave.
Yan Zhao finally saw hope of escape, and he was so excited he could have cried. He dragged his exhausted yet exhilarated self, walking step by step towards the cave entrance.
However, the moment he stepped out of the cave, he froze. The scene before him was completely unexpected; it wasn't the familiar forest he knew, but a strange space.
Clouds and mist swirled all around, making it feel like being in a fairyland. Beneath the veil of mist, faint, mysterious glowing Runes could be seen. These Runes floated in the air, occasionally flickering with a weak light, adding a touch of mystery to the entire space.
As Yan Zhao marveled, a celestial voice, as if from beyond the heavens, sounded in his ear, "Young man, congratulations on successfully passing through numerous trials and finally arriving at this mysterious Immortal Law Trial Ground. However, if you wish to leave this place safely, there is one final, arduous challenge awaiting you."
Hearing this, Yan Zhao gripped the long sword in his hand even tighter. The determined light in his eyes reignited instantly, and he declared loudly, "Please enlighten me. No matter the challenge, I will do my utmost to face it!"
The celestial voice seemed pleased with Yan Zhao's resolve and continued, "Within this vast Trial Ground, lie three crucial Immortal Law Keys. Only by collecting all three keys can the passage to the outside world be opened, allowing you to depart safely. However, be warned, each key is protected by a powerful guardian force, and it will not be easy."
Yan Zhao took a deep breath, knowing that the true difficulties were only now surfacing. But he was fearless. He resolutely sheathed his sword, turned, and strode directly into the depths of the swirling mist. His steps were steady and firm, as if he had already dismissed the countless difficulties ahead, his sole focus on finding the three Immortal Law Keys and embarking on his journey home. Yan Zhao cautiously stepped into the depths of the mist, each step feeling as if he were treading on cotton, giving a sense of unreality. As soon as he entered, he felt the temperature around him plummet, as if he had entered an ice cellar. A biting chill washed over him, causing him to shiver.
Just then, an eerie blue light flickered in the mist ahead, like a will-o'-the-wisp, glaringly conspicuous in the darkness. Yan Zhao focused his gaze and saw a massive Ice Sculpture Monster slowly emerging from the fog. The monster was entirely transparent, like an iceberg, exuding a chilling aura. It was the guardian of the first key.
The Ice Sculpture Monster let out a low roar, its voice echoing through the mist, making Yan Zhao's eardrums ache. It swung its enormous ice blade, like a moving mountain, and ferociously lunged at Yan Zhao.
Seeing this, Yan Zhao dared not delay. He quickly drew the long sword from his waist, his body flashing like a phantom, dodging the monster's attack. He then maneuvered nimbly around the monster, searching for its weaknesses.
During the fierce exchange, Yan Zhao gradually figured out the monster's attack patterns. Seizing an opportunity, he suddenly unleashed his Immortal Techniques, and a scorching flame shot towards the monster like a fire dragon. The flame met the ice sculpture with a sizzling sound. As the Ice Sculpture Monster was hit by the flames, the ice on its body began to melt rapidly.
Yan Zhao pressed his advantage. He leaped into the air, his long sword arcing through the sky, slashing at the monster like lightning. With a "crack," the monster's body was split in two and crashed to the ground.
As the monster fell, a key radiating blue light appeared before Yan Zhao. The key was crystal clear, with blue light flowing through it, as if containing endless mysteries. Yan Zhao carefully put the key away and continued walking deeper into the mist.
He knew in his heart that the challenges ahead would only become more difficult, but he was ready to face anything. No matter what awaited him, he would not retreat, resolutely heading towards the next key.
