Background

Lin Hao is a Sin Blood descendant from the Ten Directions Realm, a lower realm whose people are branded for their ancestors' betrayal during the Dark Era and forbidden from returning to the Upper Realm. He conceals his identity by posing as a demon and using the Wind Lightning Divine Wings to hide his appearance and aura. 94 96

Despite having no divine body, Lin Hao rose to the King Sealing Realm under the guidance of the Heavenly Demon's remnant soul. He considers himself responsible for freeing the billions of beings trapped in the Ten Directions Realm, believing that becoming a Great Emperor is the only way to break the Sin Blood curse. 94 103

Lin Hao first appears while attempting to purchase the damaged Sky Covering Qiankun Bag, which the Heavenly Demon identifies as containing a Ruin Fragment. Su Chenxiao outbids him with one million High-grade Spirit Stones, beginning their recurring conflict. 94

He struggles through the Demon Ape Trial and reaches the fifth level of the Heaven-Treading Staircase despite his mortal body. Driven by pride after seeing Su Chenxiao advance with ease, he attempts the sixth level and enters a life-burning state. 95 96 97

Lin Hao later competes for the Ginseng Immortal Plant and Divine Wood Resin. Although his wings let him outpace other prodigies and repel Cheng Wulin, Su Chenxiao takes the Ginseng Immortal Plant, while Ni Jiu repeatedly intercepts Lin Hao's attempts to secure resin. 102 114 115

Inside the Mysterious Fortune Realm, Lin Hao acquires the Netherworld Flood Dragon's heart blood for his formation but is nearly killed after provoking the enraged beast. Su Chenxiao beheads the Flood Dragon and saves him, further deepening Lin Hao's resentment. 154 155

The Heavenly Demon exhausts itself with the Soul Burning Secret Technique and falls into dormancy, prompting Lin Hao to vow to revive and restore his mentor's body. The remnant soul is subsequently consumed by the Death Soul Beast within Lin Hao's Sea of Consciousness. 156
