Suddenly, Son Goku shouted and poured more energy into his Kamehameha, pushing it toward Son Goten in one go.

Son Goten gritted his teeth and poured more energy into his Kamehameha as well, forcing Son Goku's Kamehameha back.
The two remained locked in the air for a while before both Kamehamehas vanished simultaneously as their energy ran out.

The two gasped heavily as they looked at each other.
Once their breathing had steadied somewhat, they charged at each other again.
They moved so fast that even North Kai had trouble seeing their battle clearly.

They grabbed each other's hands and wrestled fiercely in midair.

Krillin and the others had already gathered at Son Goku's house, asking Gohan about Son Goten.
Krillin: "Bring Goku back to life?"
"Yeah!"
"But would Goku agree?"

Although Son Goku was powerful, he had only recently mastered Super Saiyan Third Grade. Moreover, Super Saiyan Third Grade consumed a massive amount of stamina.
By now, he was already having trouble maintaining his Super Saiyan Third Grade form.
Son Goten's stamina consumption was just as great as Son Goku's, but he possessed infinite stamina. Forget fighting Son Goku—even maintaining this form continuously would not be a problem for him.

Seeing that Son Goku could not hold on much longer, Son Goten immediately charged forward.

Son Goten nodded.
Just as he finished speaking, the system's voice rang out beside Son Goten's ear.
"Ding! Congratulations, Master, for defeating Son Goku. You have obtained a Super Saiyan God Advancement Card, learned Kaioken and Instant Transmission... and received the Key Sword as a reward!"
"The Key Sword?"
Son Goten remembered that this seemed to be the sword from the Dark Demon Realm manga that sealed Mechickabura, the Dark Demon Realm King God.
However, it apparently required gathering four powers—Dark Power, divine power, Power of Time, and light power—to seal someone away forever.

After thinking for a moment, Son Goten landed back on North Kai's Planet.
At that moment, North Kai's Planet had been caught up in the aftermath of their battle. Only one-third of the ground remained, and North Kai's house was reduced to a tiny section of wall.
North Kai and the others stood behind that wall as though it were their fortress.
"Dad, Lord Kai, it's getting late. I should be heading back soon!"
"Alright!"
Son Goku nodded.
Upon hearing this, North Kai immediately ran up to Son Goten.
"Then when are you going to bring us back to life, Goten?"
He had suffered such terrible losses. If Son Goten did not bring him back to life, would he not be taking an enormous loss?
"After I get back, I'll gather the Dragon Balls and bring all of you back to life!"
"Goten, it's actually fine if you don't bring us back!"
"Goku!"
North Kai glared at him intensely.
Son Goku was fine, but West Kai and the others had always mocked North Kai over the fact that he had died.
"Then... you'd better bring us back to life."
Seeing North Kai's fierce expression, Son Goku said.
Son Goten nodded, stomped his feet against the ground, and left North Kai's Planet.

After a while, Son Goten returned to King Enma's Palace.
"Goten, you're back!"
Fortune Teller Baba said with a smile.

"It's fine. Did Goku agree to be brought back to life?"

"Then shall we head back?"

Kami's Lookout.
Using her ability to cross between the worlds of the living and the dead, Fortune Teller Baba brought Son Goten to a room in Kami's Lookout.
"Where is this?"
"This is Kami's Lookout!"
"Kami's Lookout?"
Fortune Teller Baba nodded and led Son Goten outside Kami's Lookout, where they saw Piccolo, Dende, and Mr. Popo.
"Goten, how did it go? Is your father willing to come back to life?"
"He agreed!"
"Really? Then I'll have Krillin and the others go search for the Dragon Balls now!"
Son Goten nodded.
A long time later, Krillin and the others gathered the seven Dragon Balls and brought them to Kami's Lookout, summoning the Earth Dragon.
"So this is the Dragon!"
Trunks said excitedly as he looked at the Dragon in the sky.
This was the first time he had seen the Dragon since he was born.
"State your wish. Any wish can be granted, but only one wish may be granted!"
The Dragon looked at the familiar group and spoke.
"I wish to bring North Kai and the others, who died because of Cell's self-destruction, back to life!"
Gohan said.
"Very well. However, Son Goku has already died once, so a separate wish must be made to revive him!"
"So that means we need to use two wishes?"
"Mm!"
The Dragon nodded.
"Then in that case, let's bring Goku back to life first!"
Krillin said.
"Alright!"
Gohan nodded.
"Dragon, please bring my father back to life first!"
"Very well. However, Son Goku's soul is not here, so I can only revive him where his soul is currently located. That should not be a problem, correct?"
"No. Just bring him back to life!"
"Very well!"
As the Dragon spoke, his red eyes flashed, and the halo above Son Goku's head, far away on North Kai's Planet, vanished.
"Oh, Goku, your halo disappeared!"
"Really?"
Son Goku looked up, and sure enough, the halo above his head had disappeared.
"Alright, then is your second wish to bring North Kai and the others back to life?"
"Mm!"
