Afternoon.

After waking from his nap, Son Goten saw Trunks, who had come to play with him.

"Trunks, why are you here?"

Trunks looked displeased after hearing that.

"Goten, it sounds like you don't really want me here?"

"No, of course not!"

"My dad doesn't force me to train with him all the time anymore. I only have to train for an hour or two every day!"

"I see. That's pretty good!"

Trunks looked unhappy at his response.

Vegeta had dragged him off to train because of Son Goten, and now he had stopped forcing him to train because of Son Goten too.

"What's wrong, Trunks?"

"Nothing. So, Goten, what are we doing next?"

"I don't know. Why don't you decide?"

"Then how about we go catch fish at the waterfall today?"

"Let's catch fish, then!"

Trunks nodded.

In the blink of an eye, more than a month passed.

Just as in the original story, Gohan got into Orange Star High School and became classmates with Videl.

Mount Paozu, behind Son Goku's home.

Son Goten stood on a patch of grass, training.

"Ah!"

With a loud roar, Son Goten's hair turned bright red. His eyes became larger and pupils appeared, his pupils and irises turning black and red respectively. His entire body was wrapped in aura like the flames of the sun.

This was the Super Saiyan God transformation.

Because Super Saiyan God possessed divine energy, Gohan and the others on Earth could not sense Son Goten's aura after his transformation.

Son Goten looked at his hair and raised his aura even further.

Boom!!

With an astonishing surge of power, Son Goten's hair and eyebrows turned sky blue, and his pupils became deep blue. Blue aura surrounded him along with starry particles unique to God Ki. Droplets occasionally flowed through his energy flames, which moved far more slowly than the aura of humans or Super Saiyans. Tiny electric sparks flickered within them, and the aura consisted of two layers: sky blue on the outside and white on the inside.

This was Super Saiyan Blue.

"So this is the power of Super Saiyan Blue!"

Son Goten said, lightly clenching his fists.

Then, he looked behind himself.

Super Saiyan Blue's power was comparable to Super Saiyan 4. If he still had a tail, he could transform into Super Saiyan 4 through the method from Dragon Ball GT.

Son Goten had actually had a tail when he was little, but Gohan had pulled it off.

Because Saiyans transformed into Great Apes on full-moon nights, Gohan had worried that Son Goten would lose control like he had.

His body was still that of a child. If he could transform into Super Saiyan 4, he would become as tall and imposing as Son Goku and the others.

"System, do you have any way to make my tail grow back?"

"Replying to Master, the system does not have that function. You can use the Dragon Ball to make your tail grow back!"

"The Dragon Ball? But the Dragon Ball only has one wish left now. If something suddenly happens to Earth, we'll need to use it!"

"Then, Master, you can only wait for your tail to grow back on its own!"

Son Goten nodded.

"Um, System, if I transform into a Great Ape... I won't lose control, right?"

That evening, Gohan returned home wearing a green top and black pants, with a red cape draped behind him and a helmet on his head.

This outfit was the Super Saiyan Man costume Bulma had made for Gohan in the original Dragon Ball story to help conceal his acts of heroism.

"How is it, Goten?"

After returning home, Gohan showed off his outfit to Son Goten.

Son Goten gave an awkward laugh, not knowing what to say for a moment.

No matter how he looked at it, Gohan's outfit was incredibly cringe.

"It's... pretty good!"

Son Goten said against his conscience.

Gohan smiled.

"I asked Aunt Bulma to make this outfit to hide my identity!"

"Hide your identity?"

Son Goten asked, pretending to be curious.

"Yeah. I want to be a hero of justice, but I don't want people to know who I am and disrupt my high school life, so I use this outfit to conceal my identity!"

"I see!"

"Mm!"

Gohan nodded.

"And I even came up with an impressive name for myself!"

"What name?"

"Super Saiyan Man! What do you think of that name, Goten?"

"It's okay!"

"What do you mean, it's okay? I spent a long time thinking of that name!"

Son Goten chuckled after hearing that.

"Goten, what are you laughing at?"

Gohan's expression suddenly became somewhat serious.

"Nothing!"

Just then, Son Goku, who had spent the day training on North Kai's Planet, returned home.

When he saw Gohan's outfit, he immediately found himself at a loss for words.

"Gohan, what kind of outfit is that?"

"Dad, this is the Super Saiyan Man costume Aunt Bulma made for me!"

Goku, Goten, you two will also enter the World Martial Arts Tournament!"
