Background / History

Theresa was created through Otto Apocalypse's experiments as clone subject A310, yet Otto raised her as his granddaughter. Her relationship with him remained personally important even as she became increasingly aware of Schicksal's human experimentation and Otto's willingness to sacrifice others for his goals. 45 147 634

During the Second Honkai War, Theresa was close to Cecilia Schariac. She later recovered memories and investigated evidence that convinced her Otto had lied about Cecilia's death and betrayed her. Kiana's treatment by Schicksal ultimately pushed Theresa to oppose Otto and attempt to leave the organization. 634

Theresa established St. Freya Academy partly to atone for Schicksal's crimes against experimental subjects. When she learned that Gu Yu's researcher parents had died at Babel during the Second Honkai War, she arranged for him to remain at St. Freya, both to protect him from Schicksal and Anti-Entropy and to accept responsibility for what Schicksal had done to his family. 70

Appearance

Theresa has a notably petite stature, a trait that frequently leads others to call her a child or “shorty.” She is commonly seen carrying the enormous Divine Key Oath of Judah, creating a sharp contrast between her size and her weaponry. 39 40 430

Personality

Early in the story, Theresa can be impulsive, emotionally transparent, and quick to anger when her height is mocked. After integrating powerful Stigmata, Theresa becomes markedly more calculating, observant, and politically capable. Himeko, Wraith, Rita, and her students all note that she seems like a different person: more serious, difficult to surprise, and capable of cold operational decisions. Her harsher demeanor does not erase her compassion. Theresa protects vulnerable students, gives them direct criticism rather than empty reassurance, and repeatedly prioritizes their safety over obedience to Otto.
