The Taxin Defense Network's excessive energy consumption was fundamentally caused by the Disintegration Ray Flood Wave Tower.
The Disintegration Ray Flood Wave Tower had been erected on the Skrull front lines and attacked continuously. Every Disintegration Ray could destroy a shield panel, placing tremendous additional pressure on the defense network.
Without the Disintegration Ray Towers, the Taxin Defense Network's energy reserves would still gradually decrease from the Skrull fleet and High-tier Experts alone, but not nearly as quickly as they were now.
Based on the consumption data, Winged God Dragon made a simple calculation and discovered that if this continued, the Taxin Defense Network's energy reserves would be depleted within a month!
At that point, the spiritual energy storage stations and Fusion Power Plants in the rear would be unable to bear the energy demands of the defense network. Its defensive capabilities would plummet, or even collapse entirely!
This conclusion gave Winged God Dragon quite a fright.
Without having time to think further, she hurriedly informed Su Yu of the situation.
Naturally, Su Yu took Winged God Dragon's discovery very seriously.
He ran the calculations himself and found that things were indeed as Winged God Dragon had said. If this continued, the defense network's energy reserves would be exhausted within a month.
This problem had to be solved immediately!
But how could they solve it?
Su Yu carefully considered the current war situation and the state of the Taxin Defense Network, eventually coming up with two solutions:
The first was to destroy all of the Skrulls' Disintegration Ray Towers.
The second was to put the defense network into power-saving mode and slow the recovery speed of the orange shield panels.
The first method could solve the problem at its root, but Su Yu quickly rejected it.
The reason was
