"This is too important a matter. Let's decide it by vote."
Xid the Scarab glanced in the direction the Holy Silver Army had departed and said, "I'll send the Holy Silver Army a message first and ask them to wait.
"We'll spend ten minutes voting. Please think carefully during these ten minutes and make your choice with caution."
After saying that, Xid the Scarab used Psionic Energy to send a message to the Holy Silver Army.
Bruce, the Holy Silver Army's temporary commander, was very accommodating. He also understood the importance of the dark energy forces' vote, so upon receiving the message, he immediately ordered the fleet to slow down and wait for the results.
The god-level beings of the dark energy forces were all deeply furrowed in thought.
They were fairly supportive of Xid the Scarab's proposal to "decide by vote," but the problem was that ten minutes was far too short.
This was an extremely major decision. Ten short minutes were nowhere near enough.
Yet ten minutes was indeed an appropriate amount of time, because the Holy Silver Army certainly would not be willing to wait for them too long. They had to make their choice quickly.
Thus, not a single god-level being objected to Xid the Scarab, nor did anyone complain about the lack of time. Everyone racked their brains over what choice they should make.
If they chose to "join forces with the Holy Silver Army and kill Darak at all costs," then roughly 30% to 50% of the god-level beings would likely perish.
If they chose to flee, the number of god-level deaths would not be lower. On the contrary, it would be even higher!
If they truly fled, then as long as they did not escape the star system, they would most likely be
