Seeing Su Yu put on the bracelet, the Slime Guard breathed a sigh of relief.
There were not many outsiders as cooperative as the one before it. Most outsiders were extremely resistant to wearing the bracelet and were very difficult to deal with.
With Su Yu obediently putting on the bracelet, more than half of its task was complete.
"Sorry for the trouble, outsider." The Slime Guard's tone became much friendlier.
It explained, "We did not investigate outsiders in the past, but these are special times. I hope you can understand."
"It's fine. I understand." Su Yu nodded.
"Then please come with me to another room." The Slime Guard led the way out. "I'll take you somewhere else. After a brief inquiry, you'll be able to leave and head outside."
"Alright." Su Yu kept a straight face as he followed the Slime Guard out of the room.
Outside the room was an extremely long, narrow passage.
The passage was just over two meters tall and only about one meter wide. Even someone of Su Yu's build found it very cramped to walk through.
If Su Yu found it cramped, the Slime Guard naturally found it even worse.
With the Slime Guard's enormous body, it definitely could not pass through the passage in its original form. Though it was about as tall as Su Yu, it was much fatter.
However, the Slime Guard seemed to have a solution.
After casting for a short while, it dissolved itself into a puddle of liquid and flowed forward through the passage like sewage. Su Yu found the sight both astonishing and somewhat disgusting.
The liquid simply looked revolting.
The passage was completely dark. There were no openings in its walls, so no light entered.
