After a short while, Luman Greed was the first to speak. "Sir Letedoz, is it really as you said?"
Everyone turned to look at Luman.
Under everyone's gaze, Luman continued, "I've had quite a few dealings with Su Yu. From what I know of him, he doesn't seem to hold the Guard Army in particularly high regard."
If he truly thought so highly of them, Su Yu would not have made that 100-billion deal.
But Letedoz was startled upon hearing this.
Wasn't Su Yu the Legion Commander's alt account? Luman was actually speaking disparagingly of the Legion Commander's alt account?
Or had Luman failed to guess that Su Yu was the Legion Commander's alt account?
As he pondered this, Luman had already dialed Su Yu's number. "I happen to have Su Yu's contact information. Let's ask him directly and see what he says."
"Fine." Legion Commander Darando agreed. It would be better to ask than to have them all guessing blindly here.
Soon, Su Yu answered the call.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Luman asked, "There's something I'd really like to ask you—why did you choose to sell that dragon corpse through an auction? Wouldn't other methods have been safer?"
"..." Su Yu thought for a moment before answering readily, "I wanted to sell it quickly and get the money as soon as possible. Other methods would have taken too long."
"Aren't you afraid of danger?..." Luman Greed roughly described the situation involving certain Planetary-level individuals with sticky fingers and interstellar pirates lurking beyond the hub.
After saying all this, Luman Greed had expected Su Yu to show fear, regret, or something similar.
Yet Su Yu merely smiled calmly. "It's fine. I don't care about that. If anyone really wants to rob me, then bring it on!"
