Su Yu's decision to reveal the situation on Grella-13 had naturally been made after discussing it with Sheng Ge.
This was essentially a choice between two different paths.
One was the radical path, while the other was the conservative path.
Previously, they had intended to take the conservative path.
If they did not reveal information about Grella-13, the Mechs would not know what had happened there. Sending ships to investigate might take decades before they discovered that Grella-13 had fallen.
But the conservative path had its drawbacks:
First, Lai Ya and Number Three could not appear publicly;
Second, information about Grella-13 could not be shared with the Silver Saint People.
Both of these drawbacks would slow Su Yu's growth in strength.
After discussion, Su Yu and Sheng Ge decided to take a bolder path—the so-called "radical path."
By taking the radical path, they would openly display Lai Ya and Number Three from the very beginning.
The drawback was obvious—Crystal Blue Mechs would immediately learn that Grella-13 had fallen, and Mech forces would soon come knocking.
But there were two advantages:
First, Lai Ya and Number Three could begin playing a role immediately and help him capture Mechs;
Second, once Lai Ya and Number Three became known throughout the Hub, he could use that to win the Hub's support!
Back then, Su Yu had said to Sheng Ge, "If the Crystal Blue Community can send Mech forces to attack the Milky Way Galaxy, why can't the Milky Way Galaxy send forces to attack the Triangulum Galaxy?"
Moreover, they had already decided at the time to establish connections with Belna.
Once they established ties with Belna, obtaining Federation support would be easy.
By then, they would no longer be huddled on Grella-13, passively taking blows. They would be able to strike proactively!
