Besides stacking Goddess's Tear, he had come to Silver Snake Valley to level up because he also wanted to kill a Silver Snake Boss, obtain Silver Snake Gall, and complete the first quest he had received from the old mage—joining the Scholar's Sanctuary.
"I've already killed 180 Silver Snakes. The Silver Snake Boss should be respawning soon."

The Silver Snake Boss's tail whip slammed viciously against the Ice Shield.
