Seeing Plante appear before him, Chancellor Cao hurriedly braked in midair and came to a stop just over a hundred meters away.

However, Chancellor Cao was not surprised by Plante's arrival.

The Blue Star Cultivators had long known that the Skrull would send reinforcements. It was just a pity they had failed to dismantle a few antimatter railguns.

There were simply too many of them, and their attack was too massive. The arrow was already on the string; they had no choice but to fire.

Driven by the array, an enormous stele radiating golden light and an ancient primordial aura appeared above Plante's head.

Carrying boundless might, the giant stele crashed down at him, reaching a point not far above his head in almost an instant.

Yet Plante was not flustered in the slightest.

With a sweep of his left arm, he deployed a huge pale-blue, translucent particle shield before himself.

The particle shield was the size of a small mountain, completely covering the base below.

Soon, the Primordial Giant Stele collided with the particle shield.

A terrifying shockwave erupted from the point where they met.

The shockwave rapidly surged out of the psionic spring and spread outward, devastating the ground for more than a hundred kilometers around.

However, the Primordial Giant Stele failed to break through the particle shield.

More precisely, it was still far from breaking it.

From Chancellor Cao's perspective, the stele's impact had merely caused ripples to spread across the particle shield. It was still nowhere near its breaking point.

He even vaguely felt that it would take at least three such steles striking simultaneously to shatter the particle shield!
