Physiology and Racial Traits
Skrulls are green-skinned humanoids whose appearance and physique visibly differ from those of Earth humans. They possess psionic energy; on early-revival Earth, this made disguised Skrulls identifiable because ordinary humans had not yet developed psionics. 58 439
- Camouflage — Every Skrull possesses an innate camouflage ability that lets them imitate a human target almost perfectly.
- A disguised Skrull can become physically identical to their target.
- The target's closest friends and family may still recognize an impostor.
- The Singer Civilization describes Skrulls as “natural spies.” 58
- Psionic aptitude — Skrull soldiers are at least Tier 1 and emit a psionic aura. 439
- Common appearance — Skrull pilots and ordinary personnel are depicted with light-green or green skin. 1 189
- Clothing customs — The Solar Empire and neighboring states favor gold, yellow, and red; the Renket Alliance and its neighbors favor purple, blue, and gray. Most Skrulls consider pure white unlucky and rarely wear it. 1085
Society and Politics
Skrull Star contains more than one hundred Skrull countries. The Solar Empire and Renket Alliance are its two dominant powers, jointly controlling much of the planet’s order through the Skrull Star United Government, also called “G2.” 353
| Political faction | Core position | Major power base |
|---|---|---|
| Leftists | Emphasize protection of vulnerable groups, environmentalism, animal welfare, and minority rights. | Renket Alliance 352 353 |
| Rightists | Prioritize self-interest, bloodline purity, and survival-of-the-fittest policies, regardless of harm to others. | Solar Empire 352 353 |
Skrull nations retain strongly feudal political structures despite their technological development. Common-born Skrulls face severe barriers to becoming Tier 5 or above, while royal heirs are generally expected to reach at least Tier 5. 372
- Solar Empire — Right-wing stronghold ruled by Emperor Marnina XIII; later takes command of the Skrull Expeditionary Force. 353 424
- Renket Alliance — Left-wing stronghold and the Solar Empire’s principal political rival within G2. 353
- Skrull Star United Government — Originally governed 52 Skrull countries; when war conditions worsened, it forcibly integrated the armed forces of the remaining 80 countries. 1043
Power Structure
At the time of Su Yu’s first arrival on Skrull Star, the planet had 15 Tier 8 God-tier experts: seven Skrulls and eight members of other races. The Skrull population also included 68 Tier 7 Legendary experts and 702 Tier 6 Holy Domain experts. 351
Later accounts describe eight Skrull God-tier experts among Skrull Star’s total of 15 God-tiers, with the rest belonging to other races. 950
- Rante — A Solar Empire God-tier and the only Psionic Mech Pilot among the Skrulls’ seven Tier 8 experts at the time. His mecha uses matter-antimatter annihilation and is regarded as the strongest force on Skrull Star. 371
- Marnina III — Tier 8 God-tier expert who emerges from seclusion amid a massive psionic fluctuation. 757
- Plante — God-tier Peak Psionic Mech Pilot and a leading Skrull military figure. 843
- Elizabeth — Identified as Skrull Star’s only God-tier Psychic Master. 985
Technology
Skrull technology is several hundred years ahead of Earth’s and incorporates a complex psionic operating system. Earth scientists struggle to understand even its language, controllable nuclear fusion, anti-gravity systems, and battery-load technology. 604
Energy and Industry
- Skrulls extract deuterium from seawater for controllable nuclear fusion; the energy from one liter of deuterium is stated to equal burning 300 liters of oil. 762
- Skrull Star’s oceans and fusion technology place it in an energy-surplus state, allowing research institutes to use electricity without concern for cost. 762
- Despite this conventional-energy surplus, Skrull Star has comparatively scarce psionic reserves—roughly one-fifth of Blue Star’s former reserves. 658 711
- Psionic scarcity is a central motive behind the invasion of Earth and the extraction of Earth’s Psionic Springs. 353 653
Military Technology
- Psionic mechs — Includes personal mechs, large combat mechs, and high-cost God-tier mecha such as Rante’s. 371 869
- Force field shields — Base defenses capable of blocking physical and elemental attacks; the “Star Energy Overlimit Defense Talisman” can instead allow star-energy attacks through the shield. 1012
- Laser weapons and antimatter orbital cannons — Standard heavy defenses used by Skrull bases. 1005
- Disintegration Ray Towers — Powerful energy weapons, including the Trena Skyscraper Tower’s ray that killed the then-Tier 6 Cat Morning Star. 896 1081
- Anti-gravity Crystal Instruments — Devices that forcibly extract a Spring Eye’s psionic output across hundreds or thousands of years, permanently destroying the Spring Eye. 932
- Reconnaissance systems — Spy satellites, flying reconnaissance devices, and micro detection robots used to gather intelligence on Blue Star. 766 1051
History
Civilization Ascension Plan and Earth Invasion
The Singer Civilization arranged a one-year protection period after Skrull Star targeted Earth. The Skrulls’ full-scale invasion was scheduled for June 1, 2121, while humanity received Psionic Revival and access to Evolution as means of self-preservation. 1
During this protection period, Skrulls were forbidden from leaving Psionic Springs or directly killing Earthlings except under narrow defensive conditions. These restrictions were enforced by the Singer Civilization. 58
Skrull personnel nevertheless left Yunlu Mountain Psionic Spring after Su Yu depleted much of its psionic energy. Su Yu exposed the violation by killing a disguised Skrull warrior infiltrating the President’s Office; the Singer Civilization subsequently punished the force stationed at Psionic Spring No. 001. 60
Expansion and Psionic Extraction
Skrull transport ships used Singer-provided spatial rifts to move between Earth and Skrull Star. The portal technology itself was not Skrull-made; it was supplied by the Silver Federation, a Singer Civilization branch. 188
The Skrulls established bases at Earth’s Psionic Springs, collecting energy into Psionic Storage Tanks and transporting it back to Skrull Star. 189 653
Under Marnina XIII, the Skrulls enacted the “Explosive Mining Plan,” using Anti-gravity Crystal Instruments to drain Earth’s springs. The operation returned more psionic energy than the previous six months combined and caused more than 2,000 Earth springs to wither. 653 658
Propaganda and Defector Recruitment
The Skrulls used defectors such as Brandon to promote life on Skrull Star through viral videos. Their control of Blue Star’s network prevented the United Government from removing the campaign. 869
Skrull forces welcomed Blue Star defectors, showed them Sun City and provided them with mechs. Many recruits were then sent to Bona Star as “Planetary Miners.” 876 880
The mining program concealed a 15% annual casualty rate from recruits through manipulated information, creating an “information cocoon” around the defectors. 880
Total War Mobilization
As Blue Star’s strength rose, the Skrull United Government consolidated the military forces of all 132 Skrull countries and compelled other races to join its war effort. 1043
The Skrulls used both threats and incentives against groups such as the Merfolk, Crowned Birds, Dragons, White-headed Eagles, Sea Giants, and Rhino Spirits. Incentives included plundered psionic energy, returned sacred artifacts, and promises of postwar spoils. 1043 1064
When the Sky Shield Device blocked Skrull spy satellites, Skrull command launched the Sting Worm Plan early, releasing 1.2 million flying reconnaissance devices and 730,000 micro detection robots over Blue Star. 1051
Dark Energy Rebel Army Crisis
After Su Yu revealed that Skrull Star had been targeted by the Dark Energy Rebel Army, Skrull leadership initially halted the Anti-gravity Crystal Instruments and offered an olive branch to Blue Star. 1000
When Earth declined cooperation, Marnina III and Plante resumed their extraction plan while preparing the “Spark Plan” as a civilization-survival contingency. They also deceived Chancellor Cao and the First Emperor to keep them away from Earth. 1003

- Solar Empire — Right-wing Skrull superpower and major component of G2. 353
- Renket Alliance — Left-wing Skrull superpower and major component of G2. 353
- Other Skrull Star races — Subject to Skrull political pressure, resource incentives, and forced military mobilization. 1043 1064
Trivia
- The Skrull language is described as difficult for Earth scientists to learn, adding to the challenge of reverse-engineering Skrull technology. 604
- Skrull military equipment is widely used by Blue Star after capture or theft, including laser guns, sprint coats, tactical leg guards, hover tanks, mechs, and drone swarms. 1043
- Skrull equipment artisans require clients to provide two sets of materials for crafting: one for production and one as payment, with both forfeited even if the crafting attempt fails. 889
