As she listened to Gary recount the secret realm's history, Xiao Tian gained a much deeper understanding of this "Skrull Star's greatest secret realm."
And during his account, she learned an important piece of information—every expedition into the secret realm had a death rate of at least 50%. Half the people who entered would never make it back out.
"Now I finally know why this secret realm felt so strange." Xiao Tian rubbed her chin and nodded to herself.
She had always felt that this secret realm was not as simple as it appeared. Now, it seemed she had been right!
From what she had seen so far, she, the surrounding Skrulls, and the High-level Magic Beasts could not attack one another. Even after three days, she had yet to see a single dead person. This completely contradicted the secret realm's 50% death rate.
If they were not allowed to fight one another and cause deaths, then how would they die to make up that 50% mortality rate?
At least for now, Xiao Tian could not see the answer.
Gary knew what Xiao Tian was thinking and said with a bitter smile, "To be honest, what the others and I fear most is precisely that 50% death rate.
No one has started dying in the secret realm yet, but who knows when it will begin?
All we can do is pray that we are not the ones who die, and that we can make it out alive."
"Mm." Xiao Tian tapped her chin with her left index finger, looking thoughtful.
After a short while, she suddenly asked, "What about before? What were the previous secret realms like? Did they involve killing bugs too?"
"Of course not. If they did, I would not be this worried." Gary quickly shook his head.
