• Wang Zhifan destroyed the blood demon after chasing down its fragments, then learned it was only a clone of a major Demon Gate expert.
• Wang Zhifan entered the Brave Explorer instance, uncovered alien organisms and a hidden spacecraft, and joined Jessica’s team on a mission to an unexplored planet.
• Wang Zhifan protected the scientists from hostile creatures and rival players, killed the Assassin player, and met Hope, an artificial intelligence whose creators had gone extinct.
• The Chief revealed that Hope was a Mechanical Calamity Seed and helped Wang Zhifan reach Lv100, become an SVIP Player, and end the instance early.
• Wang Zhifan chose the Lord of the Universe badge and two planet passes, explored Gaia Planet and Urban Planet, and bought a frigate with combat robots.
• Wang Zhifan helped Chu Wei and He Qianqian defeat Ash Domain monsters, then refused He Qianqian’s offer to join the Administration and continued cultivating and managing Wind-Snow Tower.
• Wang Zhifan entered a mercenary world with Jack, sought information about the Demon King, and left the tavern after hostile players suddenly died.

Wang Zhifan explored the Pitch-Black Tower and the Endless Dungeon, uncovering the Demon King's weakening seal and preparing for its return. He killed Morpheus, returned to reality with new rewards, and began putting the tower and his frigate to use.

• Wang Zhifan climbed the Pitch-Black Tower, defeated its trials, acquired the Evil Greatsword and Shadow-Banishing Cloak, and learned that the Demon King’s seal was failing.
• Wang Zhifan entered the Endless Dungeon, witnessed the Demon King’s power, and learned from the Bone Dragon that it had once held the Demon King title.
• Wang Zhifan extracted the Bone Dragon’s power origin, gave it to Yicui Si, and returned to the capital without joining the human army or a player squad.
• Morpheus escaped its seal and attacked the Pitch-Black Tower, where Raji and the assembled professionals and players failed to stop it.
• Wang Zhifan arrived with Yicui Si, erased Morpheus and its spatial power with Time Stop and Life Is a Dream, and received the Hero title.
• Wang Zhifan returned to reality, claimed his dungeon rewards, and began testing the Pitch-Black Tower’s trials and equipment supplies.
• Wang Zhifan summoned his frigate, completed flight training, bought weapons and supplies, and began scanning Gaia Planet.

Wang Zhifan took charge of Wind-Snow Tower, hunted Demon Gate spies, and entered a new desert world where he built the Black Tower into a refuge and testing ground for players. As players gathered there and fought through its floors, native forces watched the tower and Wang Zhifan began studying their abilities and equipment.

• Wang Zhifan became master of Wind-Snow Tower, uncovered Demon Gate spies with the Heaven's Mandate Divination Book, and sent his subordinates to raid their hideouts.
• Wang Zhifan entered a strange world, joined Gate, rescued Elena and Bella from execution, restored them with Time Law Power, and gave them laser pistols.
• Wang Zhifan entered a desert survival instance, subdued a hunting party, learned about the Great Gathering Place, and used the Pitch-Black Tower as shelter while Shadow Monsters besieged it.
• Foreign players and Xia Kingdom players clashed with powerful natives, while Wang Zhifan's Black Tower became a refuge for escaping players in the desert.
• Lu Qiang escaped pursuing mechs with a summoned phantom, and David led a group of players toward the Black Tower after their underground hideout was discovered.
• Players gathered outside the Black Towers as Wang Zhifan rejected spying attempts and secretly allowed William, David, and Zakharova to enter a Wizard's tower space.
• William, David, and Nova killed the Wizard but found the remaining monsters strengthened and the stairs looping them back to the third floor.
• William used his Demon Skin scroll to weaken the monsters, and Nova and David killed the survivors while Wang Zhifan considered borrowing the scroll to examine it.

Wang Zhifan crushed Lifeline’s leaders, saved Da Ya City, and helped Zhong Wei become a player before strengthening his own abilities and extending his influence across several worlds. He then encountered the stranded maintainer Ying and reunited with Chen Ming and Chen Can at a player banquet, where the brothers invited him to lead their planned guild.

• Wang Zhifan killed William, the insect summoner, and the female Warrior, then helped Zhong Wei’s forces fight the other players inside the Black Towers.
• Wang Zhifan’s clone defeated Zhong Wei and secretly marked him, then helped him retaliate against Lifeline’s leaders after their missile strike on the towers.
• Wang Zhifan killed the two Lifeline leaders despite Zhong Wei’s decision to spare them, then erased the missiles and nuclear explosions threatening Da Ya City with Life Is a Dream.
• Wang Zhifan gave Zhong Wei an Arcanist Class Card, and Zhong Wei became a player and described his first dungeon.
• Wang Zhifan advanced his abilities with Lifeline Alpha and Perfect One, then planned research and trade with Catherine using new species from Gaia Planet.
• Wang Zhifan organized covert investigations into Demon Gate activity and helped Gate, Elena, and Bella rescue imprisoned witches, then healed the prisoners and watched Bella preach to them.
• Wang Zhifan met Ying inside the Quantum Dream Domain and helped her pass through a damaged door, where she found a silent wasteland and resolved to keep searching for hope.
