What's there to be afraid of?

Many people have described the scenes they see before they die.

Some say that before death, people see deceased loved ones.

Some say they see a road and follow it.

Some say they review their lives, seeing the right and wrong they've experienced.

And so on.

But experiencing near-death is not truly dying. Just as everyone's dreams are different, what they see is also different.

Those who wake up after being in a vegetative state for over a decade also say it felt like a dream.

Therefore, only after truly dying can one truly know what it's like after death.

Don't think that living a good life means you shouldn't talk about death, as it's an unpleasant topic.

Buddhism has a practice called transcending life and death. What does it mean to transcend life and death?

It means understanding what life is and what death is.

If we don't discuss life and death, will people stop dying? If we discuss life and death, will people stop dying?

You can't change the final outcome; it's already set. So, what's there to fear?

Only by understanding this can you change your state of being, change how you live your life.

You fear while living, you fear death, you fear this and that, scaring yourself so much you're uncomfortable, you can barely live anymore, and you're still afraid?

Am I a complete idiot? Huh? Will your fear stop you from dying? Will your fear bring you success? Will your fear stop you from living?

The more you're afraid, the more you have to do it! If you get used to fear, you won't be afraid anymore! No one is born brave.

When I was in my teens, I was afraid to pee outside the door at night in the countryside.

Once, my dog barked at a certain spot, and I even saw a ghost.

At the time, I thought I was mistaken, that my eyes were playing tricks on me. But the ghost was still there, and I got scared and ran back inside. My mom and the four neighborhood aunties went to look, but they saw nothing. Even Uncle Qi, a neighbor, was working in the yard and didn't see anyone.

I'm sure I saw it. I saw a man smiling at me.

Now, if you let him appear before me again? Damn it, if I don't grab him and throw him in a hot pot, I'm being too nice to him!

Damn it, they scared me because I was young back then. Now I can shift my thoughts instantly, summon any emotion in a flash, and I've already programmed myself to get instantly enraged when startled. If I don't beat you until your face is blooming with peach blossoms, then I'm your damn father!

If you're a ghost, what makes you so special? I am the God! If you dare provoke me, I'll chase you to the eighteenth level of hell and still bite off a piece of you!

Without this bit of spirit, I wouldn't be cultivating immortal cultivation!

My kindness is for ordinary people. My kindness is definitely not for demons and monsters! As the saying goes, if I don't deal with you, who will? I was born to bully demons and monsters!

I was born to devour ghosts and cultivate! If I were afraid of ghosts, wouldn't that be defying heaven?

Maybe I'm clumsy at writing, but when it comes to immortal cultivation, I don't care who's who!

Those old immortals and great gods behind them are so powerful, so powerful! I myself am powerful! Don't ask why. Just ask, and the answer is that it's been this way for lifetimes!

I've been powerful since I was young, and I can't change it. It's my nature!

Before I grew up, I might have been a little scared. I've woken up after thirty years.

I don't care who it is! No one is that special! If I'm in a good mood, I'll be low-key. If I'm in a bad mood, I don't care how many dishes are on your table, I'll flip them all over! You won't let me eat? Then no one eats!

Hahaha, you absolutely need this kind of temper to be suitable for cultivation. Without this temper, cultivating is useless.

If I'm afraid of ten steps after taking just one, then what the hell am I doing? I'll fight until I die, until my Primordial Spirit is annihilated and we both perish.

Back then, people always said my personality was not good, that I would suffer losses because of this unyielding nature!

Bullshit! I am unyielding, but I've never been unreasonable or acted shamelessly. If I'm wrong, I admit it. If I'm right, even the King of Heaven can't do anything to me!

Moreover, I'm straightforward. If I argue with someone, it's a personal matter. In work, if they don't understand something, I'll still help them.

I clearly distinguish between the two and don't use public office for private gain.

Often, when I show this side of myself, I'm doing very well. Letting things slide and not arguing often makes people look down on you.

What does this mean? It means people are inherently weak. If you're fierce, they're afraid of you. If you're weak, they bully you.

If you can keep your heart absolutely straight and don't actively do evil, you are a good person.

Wanting to be a good person isn't about letting everything go or enduring everything. It's about being even more evil to the wicked and even kinder to the kind. That's the way to be human.

Of course, this is just the way to be human, haha.

What cultivators need to do is keep their hearts still and manifest their appearance according to the actual situation.

How does that saying go? "Burn incense when you meet Buddha, draw a gun when you meet a thief."

Without Vajra methods, don't talk about Bodhisattva compassion.

What is Bodhisattva compassion? It means I could crush you, but I choose not to.

Otherwise? Without methods, without ability, are you just convincing yourself it's kindness?

That's called incompetence! If you can't even distinguish between kindness and incompetence, then who else will be bullied if not you?

Don't just talk about people; even ghosts will find you to bully, not for any other reason than that you're easy to bully.

Kindness is having the ability to shatter the heavens, but choosing not to.

It's not about letting others step on you, and then believing you're kind because you don't fight back.

Fear of people, fine, but you're afraid of things that aren't even human? Are you crazy, or is someone else?

If you're going to be this cowardly, get lost. You definitely can't read this book, you don't deserve to!

If you finish reading my book and are still a spineless coward, then haven't I written it all for nothing?

The purpose of my writing is to let you know that you have the ability to control your own Thoughts at will.

With that, you possess an invincible spirit.

If you're cultivating immortality and are afraid of ghosts, what are you even cultivating? If you're cultivating immortality and are afraid of people, what are you even cultivating?

After Breaking Illusions, you can see the patterns of the human heart, what is there to fear?

If you can even control your own Thoughts and make them behave, when you change a Thought, where does your fear come from?

Your fear must stem from what you're thinking about, what else could it be?

You say ghosts scare people, you say ghosts harm people, did ghosts tell you, or did people tell you?

Weren't all those things told to you by people? You believe others but not yourself, are you an idiot?

What they tell you is just their opinion, it has nothing to do with you!

What I tell you is the truth! The truth is a powerful principle that can make you stronger!

I can't tell you that gods don't exist in this world! I can only tell you that you too can become a god!

You are a god!

You are the most awesome god in your own life! Because you decide if you're afraid, and you'll only be afraid if you decide to be; if you decide you're not afraid, then you fear nothing!

If this isn't being a god, what more do you want from a god? Wake up!!!
