In a western corner of Yan City stood a crude, dilapidated stone temple. It was withered and desolate, long stripped of any scent of incense. No Cave Tribe people came to burn incense or offer worship.

That was because this stone temple had long since lost all divine wonders. Worshipping there was futile, and as time passed, even the Cave Tribe people no longer believed in the stone statues of all sizes within.

There were quite a few such ancient stone temples in the Earth Abyss. Some stood within cities, others out in the wilderness. Those in the cities were at least relatively intact, while those in the wild had long crumbled and collapsed, their divine statues vanished without a trace.

This stone temple in Yan City was blanketed in dust and steeped in darkness. It housed roughly a hundred enshrined statues—human figures, all manner of ancient beasts, even sculpted plants. It was truly a bewildering array of strange forms.
