Background / History

A'li was a mountain girl from He Lao Dock and the elder sister of A'hu. When A'hu was selected as an offering for the River Hag, she desperately sought help to save him; Li Qingyun intervened in the River Sacrifice and protected the children. 92

After Li Qingyun established his Daoist temple, A'li lived modestly, cooking rice porridge with wild vegetables and intending to share it with A'hu. 104 At fourteen, she joined the temple's disciple recruitment alongside her brother. Li Qingyun discovered that she possessed high-grade Dao Bone and Spiritual Root, aptitude far exceeding A'hu's. 110

Her cultivation rapidly outpaced the other first-generation disciples. She became the senior disciple of South Suppression · Lingbao Temple, consistently led its contribution-point rankings, and was entrusted with organizing the spirit-rice harvest alongside Li Zuo and Shui Lu. 138 After passing the dual-stone test, she entered the Lingbao Sect and received access to Li Qingyun's Qingyun Mansion on Linghui Peak. 175
