The gang member in the lead stared blankly at the rusty dagger pressed against his throat.

The dagger wasn't particularly sharp, but it was stained with dark red blood, its twisted runes of rust and corrosion exuding a strange and sinister aura.

This, combined with what the person behind him had said.

It's coated in deadly corrupting poison. Just a graze or touch, and you'll turn into a pool of pus, your soul even corrupted, unable to return to the Golden Throne.

The leading gang member couldn't help but swallow, trembling as he turned his head to look at the man behind him.

Then, the leader's pupils contracted sharply, and his legs began to shake uncontrollably.

What a terrifying face! With hawk-like eyes and a wolf-like mouth, it was as sinister as igneous rock carved from the deepest, darkest pit, like a Mighty Lion lurking in the shadows.

The leading gang member suspected that if he made the slightest move against the person before him, he would be stabbed into pus by this dagger and fall into the realm of demons.

It wasn't just the leader; the nearby gang members and Hive City workers were also terrified.

Appearing suddenly like a ghost, claiming the dagger in his hand had blasphemous properties, his face cold and terrifying enough to make one's legs go weak.

Heretics! They're heretics!

The gang members felt their legs go weak.

In the Hive City, the most dangerous things were never the various criminal gangs, but those blasphemous heretics.

The leading gang member gasped for breath, looking at the dagger at his throat, and quickly said with a trembling voice:

"Don't rush, don't rush. We can talk about anything."

Seeing the gang member and Hive City workers frozen with fear, Zhou Yun was also momentarily stunned.

He had only intended to hijack the leading gang member and use the Ring of Passage to enter the PDF outpost, But it seemed the effect was a bit too good.

Zhou Yun noticed the way they were looking at him – clearly the look they gave heretics.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not a heretic."

Zhou Yun said gently:

"I just want to enter the PDF outpost. I hope you won't stop me."

"Look at my righteous face, am I not loyal?"

As he spoke, Zhou Yun leaned his face closer to the leading gang member.

The leader's face contorted, his legs shaking uncontrollably.

Yes, yes, venerable sir, you're not a heretic.

If you weren't a heretic, how could you appear like a ghost? If you weren't a heretic, how could your dagger carry a poison that corrupts the soul?

The leading gang member glanced at the crimson dagger at his throat, remained silent for a moment, then nodded fiercely and said:

"Yes, yes, you're right."

"You clearly aren't a heretic; your face is full of righteousness and loyalty to the Emperor."

"Look at this. This face, like a Mighty Lion, looks so sincere, without any secrets."

Zhou Yun nodded in deep agreement.

His face was modeled after the Primarch Lion El'Jonson, so it was bound to look loyal.

"I'm very satisfied that you're cooperating."

Zhou Yun patted the leading gang member's shoulder approvingly and waved towards the shadows in the distance.

Monger and Malkit, cloaked in brown robes that hid their faces, emerged from the shadows.

The surrounding gang members parted to make way for them.

Monger walked to Zhou Yun's side and nodded stiffly.

Zhou Yun gestured for Monger to take the dagger and help him hold the leading gang member hostage, then led them to the foot of the rubble mountain.

He reached into his clothes, concealed his movements, and took the Ring of Passage from his Fourth-Dimensional Pocket, pressing it against the rubble mountain.

"Go through," Zhou Yun instructed Monger and Malkit.

"Go through?" Monger said, looking confused and dazed.

He hadn't kept up with Zhou Yun's train of thought since the beginning. Everything had happened so suddenly. Zhou Yun had hijacked the leader, brought them to the foot of the rubble mountain, And then produced a golden ring, tall as a man, from who-knows-where and placed it on the wall. A black hole then appeared within the ring.

"Going through will lead to the PDF outpost," Zhou Yun said, stepping through himself first.

Malkit followed closely. Monger hesitated, pushed the leading gang member aside, and also went through.

Immediately, the scene before him swirled. As his head emerged from the ring, he found himself in a spacious clearing.

He blinked and realized he had passed through the rubble mountain and arrived in front of the PDF outpost.

Before him lay a dilapidated PDF camp, its walls adorned with the crest of the Governor Flax family.

Monger, still somewhat bewildered, watched as Zhou Yun tucked the golden ring into his clothes.

He was silent for a moment, slowly processing what had just happened, and couldn't help but say:

"You're not a heretic, are you?"

Zhou Yun glanced at Monger with disdain and said, "You, a heretic, have the nerve to talk about me."

"Forget it, with your level of competence, calling you a heretic is a compliment."

Zhou Yun shook his head, never expecting to be called a heretic by a heretic one day.

While he didn't have any genuine loyalty or faith in the Emperor, he at least didn't worship those Warp demons and sprites, right?

These two Nurgle followers were actually accusing him of being a heretic.

"Family, who understands? This low-level heretic," Zhou Yun muttered sarcastically.

Monger, however, shook his head. "My brother and I are not heretics. We came for all of Asphodel."

"Heretics don't think they're heretics," Zhou Yun shrugged.

"Aren't you the same?" Monger retorted.

"Alright, Monger, if it weren't for Ryan Russ's help, we wouldn't have gotten in so easily," Malkit said, mediating.

He still sounded a bit awkward when he mentioned the name Ryan Russ.

Zhou Yun nodded slightly at him. "My target is the weapons in the warehouse. If you want to do any profane sorcery or anything like that, wait until I'm done moving them."

"You're going to move all the weapons in the warehouse by yourself?" Monger said in surprise. "You're not planning some profane sorcery, are you?"

"Alas, you misunderstand us. We are only here to find some documents," Malkit said, shaking his head.

Hearing this, Zhou Yun nodded. "Okay, if you're looking for archives, see if you can help me find a map of Old Sector Eight while you're at it."

"Of course," Malkit replied with a smile.

With that, the three walked towards the entrance of the PDF encampment.

Just before entering, Malkit slowed down slightly, putting himself half a step behind Monger and Zhou Yun.

Then, in an extremely quiet voice, he chanted a seven-syllable incantation.
