Background / History

Zhou Yun identifies himself as a youth from the 21st century. He transmigrates to Asphodel in the Warhammer universe, where Rag pulls him from a garbage heap and he becomes a Lower Hive scavenger. His principal advantage is Doraemon’s Fourth-Dimensional Pocket, though every major item obtained through it must be rented or bought through the Future Department Store. 1 389 560

During his early survival in Asphodel, Zhou Yun relies on disguises, purchased gadgets, opportunistic scavenging, and careful manipulation of local gangs and authorities. He initially prefers practical tools over prestigious weapons, choosing the Psykana Cap and Body Clay to enter Old Sector Eight and operate under assumed identities. 9 10

His existence increasingly disrupts prophecies and established plans. The Emperor’s schemes apparently did not account for him, while both Jeanne and the winged figure in white light consider his future difficult to predict. Zhou Yun’s interference helps prevent the Ninth District’s collapse and preserves Lena and Jeanne. 90
