Piercing horn blasts suddenly erupted all around Sanguinius.
Sanguinius opened his eyes in slight confusion and looked around, only to find himself standing in the very middle of an intersection.
Many primitive vehicles surrounded him, honking wildly at him.
A car window rolled down, and an empty tin can was tossed out, flying toward Sanguinius.
It was followed by a string of curses:
"You foreign bastard!"
"In a hurry to die? Why are you standing in the middle of the road?!"
"If you want to get turned into ground meat, I can help you with that!"
So perhaps it was not quite so full of goodwill after all.
