In the Warp, on the Steroid Planet, sweat ran down crimson skin as Magnus stared at the Changer of Ways floating in the air before him.

Tzeentch's treacherous form shifted and twisted without cease, constantly displaying different shapes. Every transformation revealed knowledge that seemed nearly infinite.

If an ordinary person witnessed such knowledge, their mind would likely be torn apart on the spot, their spirit shattered, their flesh warped into aberrations.

Even someone wise enough to comprehend this knowledge would have their mind twisted at once, reduced to a puppet and turned into a slave of fate.

But Magnus was different now. To him, that knowledge was like water, while his head was an IP68 waterproof, extremely smooth stainless-steel lump. Knowledge splashed over his head and simply streamed away, leaving not even the faintest trace.

Magnus's very existence had been distorted. The bacteria Zhou Yun had previously cast into The Book of Magnus—the bacteria that devoured the knowledge within it—were taking effect.

The bacteria's power had exceeded Tzeentch's expectations. They had not merely affected The Book of Magnus in the present; they had also affected its past, present, and future, utterly distorting Magnus's existence from beginning to end. Even Magnus's connection to Tzeentch's domain was gradually being stripped away.

The Magnus of the past had possessed endless thirst for knowledge, taking all knowledge into himself, whether good or bad.

The Magnus of the present was an absolute domain of ignorance, rejecting all knowledge, whether good or bad.

He still possessed the ability to understand and recognize things, but he could no longer store the results of that understanding and recognition as knowledge.

But that was not necessarily a bad thing. At least, it was not bad for Magnus. Without the chaotic threads of knowledge tugging at his body, he had
