• Li Zhixian completed the massacre in the valley, perfected the Oblivion River Blood Grudge Incense, and was comforted by Qian Renxue.
• Li Zhixian and Qian Renxue reached one hundred arena victories, entered the Hell Road together, killed the Ten-Headed Fierce Yang Serpent, and gained Divine Slaughter's Domain.
• Li Zhixian refused the Asura God’s inheritance rather than give up his Azure Lotus Sword and attachments, then left the City of Slaughter with Qian Renxue.

• After several days with his friends, Li Zhixian sensed an ambush in a dark alley, where an old man in gray robes greeted him as Banished Immortal.

Li Zhixian helped the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect repel Spirit Hall, then joined allies and soul beasts to drive Bibi Dong from the Star Dou Great Forest. After reaching Soul Power level sixty, he was taken by Snow Empress to the Extreme North, where a clash of swords drew him and little Ya Zi toward a ferocious beast.

• Li Zhixian warned his allies that Spirit Hall was preparing to attack, while Bibi Dong secretly mobilized ten thousand Soul Masters against the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
• Li Zhixian cultivated in the Seven Treasure Starry Sky Barrier, obtained the Seventh Treasure, and condensed Mental Power Sword Intent as Spirit Hall’s forces attacked the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

Li Zhixian returned from the Extreme North with a hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and entered Spirit Hall’s Seven Sects Re-selection Assembly, where he defeated powerful challengers and killed Tang Lie. The contest led the sect leaders into Desolate City, where Li Zhixian and his allies faced a giant scythe-wielding shadow as Bibi Dong watched from outside.

• Li Zhixian killed the Myriad Mirage Beast, absorbed its hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and soul bone, and returned to Heaven Dou City with his Soul Power at Level 65.
• Li Zhixian met Qian Renxue in Spirit City, then joined the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s preparations for the Seven Sects Re-selection Assembly.
• At the assembly, Li Zhixian killed two young sect masters and defeated the Fire Leopard, White Tiger, and Elephant Armor sect masters with one sword strike.
• Li Zhixian entered the secret realm, killed Tuoba Xi, and later fought Tang Lie over a Clear Sky Sect Marshal Banner.

As Bibi Dong prepared to establish her empire, Li Zhixian held a title banquet and confronted Yu Xiaogang and the Golden Iron Triangle over their past grievances.

• Li Zhixian and his companions discovered that demonic shadows could revive and reach into supposedly safe courtyards, while Qian Renxue entered the secret realm to join him.
• Li Zhixian gathered Marshal Banners with Qian Renxue, then stayed behind to hunt undead and use the realm’s decay to comprehend a new sword intent.
• Bibi Dong’s benevolent will revealed herself as both a remnant and a drop of Deity’s Blood, then helped Li Zhixian temper his body and purify the Azure Lotus Sword as he created the eighth style, Washing the Glaze.
