Li Qingyuan advanced his cultivation, disguised himself as Long Xiao, and led a campaign that ended with him defeating the Black Water Crocodile Dragon Demon Emperors and gathering a vast stock of Soul Crystals. As the cultivators assembled to open Tai Cang Immortal Mountain, Yang Xuan arrived with his forces.

• Dian Kui sacrificed himself to summon a Golden Armored Giant that broke the Golden Thunder Bamboo Worm’s seal, while an unknown cultivator later rescued Yan Lingyue and You Yanmei before Yang Xuan appeared and pursued the worm.
• Li Qingyuan cultivated for decades, reached Peak Soul Transformation, completed Wood Nirvana, and then led Li Xianhuang to kill Bing Ling'er and Long Xiao, taking Bing Ling'er’s soul blood and Long Xiao’s identity.
• Disguised as Long Xiao, Li Qingyuan lured the Divine Fire Region and Seven Mysteries Region forces into Snow Dragon Valley and helped slaughter their gathered cultivators.

Li Qingyuan helped the Heavenly Chosen hunt a Void Refining Demon Emperor, then defeated Yang Xuan to claim the Imperial Baptism. The year-long baptism brought Li Qingyuan and several rivals to major breakthroughs, leaving Li Qingyuan on the verge of completing his ascent beyond Extreme Dao Soul Transformation.

• Yang Xuan led the Heavenly Chosen to hunt the Golden Thunder Bamboo Worm, but Li Qingyuan and Zhao Guangzheng ambushed and killed it before Yang Xuan’s group could catch up.
• Li Qingyuan presented the fifth Void Refining Soul Crystal, opening Tai Cang Immortal Mountain, then fought through the peak contest and killed Long Aotian with Sun Mulan’s help.
• The Heavenly Chosen contested the ten thrones, and Li Qingyuan defeated Yang Xuan in their final duel with help from Old Zhao and the Soul Refining Banner’s main soul.

• Li Qingyuan and Ji Kun broke through to Void Refining during the Tai Cang Immortal Mountain baptism, but the Immortal Coffin Female Corpse absorbed the remaining power and revealed a sacred relic that could evolve the Mysterious Feminine Space.
• After the Hundred Regions War ended, Li Qingyuan joined the Azure Profound Immortal Sect, while Yang Haoran protected him from the Myriad Dragon Ancestor and punished the domains that had obstructed the Nine Provinces.
• Five Void Refining Dao Lords invaded the Nine Provinces, but Li Qingyuan returned and, with Ji Kun and the Nine Provinces cultivators, killed them and gave their bodies to be made into puppets.
