"Beat me! This money is yours."
Smack~
A stack of cash was slapped onto the boxing ring.
At a glance, there had to be at least several tens of thousands in it.
Zhuang Xin fell silent, looking rather speechless as he stared at the stack of cash.
"What? Too little?" Her voice was cool and edged with arrogance. The woman picked up a pair of boxing gloves from nearby, twisting her neck until it crackled.
"Sister Dong, don't bully him. How about... we wait for Eldest Sister and the others to get here first?" A younger girl looked at Zhuang Xin nervously.
The cold, arrogant woman was named Dong Pan, one of the regulars who often came here to practice boxing.
Her skills were no joke. She had fought every coach in the entire club.
Other than the combat coach who had once won a national championship and could fight her to a draw, she had virtually no opponents here. Whenever fighters from elsewhere came by, Dong Pan always took first place whenever she stepped in.
Quite a few veterans had even urged her to compete professionally, but Dong Pan's background had never been simple.
Naturally, she would not compete over such a trivial title. Her family had countless businesses waiting for her to manage; she was not that free.
"Sure."
Ever since obtaining the Ultimate Fighting Technique, Zhuang Xin had not fought anyone in actual combat. This woman seemed fairly capable, so she was perfect for testing his skills.
"Come on!"
Dong Pan braced both hands on the posts around the ring and deftly flipped herself inside.
Zhuang Xin, meanwhile, pulled apart the ropes and climbed in.
"Hey, Sister Dong, keep it under control." Afraid something might happen, the younger girl reminded her again.
"I know. I'm just warming up. Eldest Sister and the others will be here later, and I still have another match to fight. This time, I won't lose to her."
Dong Pan flashed a captivating smile.
That figure was simply incredible.
Even her looks were easily an eight out of ten.
Dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt and black shorts, she gave off an indescribably heroic air.
But...
The instant Dong Pan narrowed her eyes, exchanged the pre-match salute with Zhuang Xin, and threw a punch, her expression turned serious.
Bang~
The moment she swung, Zhuang Xin's fist had already landed on her left cheek. He showed no mercy whatsoever.
"Ahh~"
Dong Pan was knocked to the ground by one punch, letting out a miserable cry.
If not for the gloves, she probably would not have been able to get back up after that blow.
"Are you okay?" Zhuang Xin hesitated. She was far too easy to take down.
"I'm fine! Again."
Dong Pan gritted her pearly teeth and swiftly flipped herself back up. This time, she was much more cautious.
Since Zhuang Xin was so agile, she would fight him at close range. Close-quarters combat was what she was best at...
A moment later, Dong Pan closed in, grabbed Zhuang Xin around the waist, and hooked a leg around his head. She asked smugly, "Well?"
"Can I say... not really?" Zhuang Xin had thought she had some special move when he saw her get close.
I took my pants off for this?
Zhuang Xin suddenly leaped into the air, back facing downward. In an instant, his legs locked around the girl's neck as he crashed down heavily.
Bang~
Dong Pan saw stars, seized by the urge to cough up blood.
Seeing that the woman had clearly lost the strength to continue fighting, Zhuang Xin released her. He walked to the edge of the ring, picked up the tens of thousands in cash, patted it, and said, "I'm leaving. Next time, don't act so arrogant before you have the skills to back it up."
Unfortunately, Dong Pan no longer had the strength to speak. She felt as though she could barely breathe.
The woman below the ring hurriedly pulled apart the ropes and ran up. "Sister Dong, how are you?"
"Are you alright? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Only after quite a while did Dong Pan recover enough to force out, "Hospital, my ass! Damn it, did that bastard not know how to go easy on me? He's a grown man, yet he's so petty."
Grimacing as she climbed to her feet, Dong Pan sat in the boxing ring and rested for half an hour before the soreness finally eased.
Outside, a woman with a fiery figure walked in.
Behind her followed a tall, cold beauty who was wrapping her boxing gloves. She asked curiously, "What happened? Why did everyone run up there? Did you gang up on Little Dong?"
"N-No..."
A group of women hurriedly helped Dong Pan down. "Sister Dong had a boxing match with someone just now, and he subdued her in two moves."
"Two moves? Damn, who was that awesome?" Zhuang Ruoxin was so shocked she could hardly speak. She knew this sister well—Dong Pan was absolutely first-rate. Though slightly inferior to Nie Han'er, she was definitely not to be underestimated.
Among their group of sisters, aside from Nie Han'er, Dong Pan was the best fighter.
"A... a super handsome guy. He should be a new coach." The younger girl blushed as she recalled the way Zhuang Xin had thrown his punch.
"A new coach?" Nie Han'er walked up to Dong Pan and looked at her face. It had not looked too bad just now, but it was already bruised and looked especially pathetic.
When she lifted the clothes on Dong Pan's back, the bruising there was not as severe as on her face, but it had still turned blue.
"Is this guy gay? Little Dong is so pretty, yet he could still bring himself to hit her?"
The women all rolled their eyes. Zhuang Ruoxin was always so blunt.
"I'll ask at the front desk." With a cold expression, Nie Han'er headed outside.
Zhuang Ruoxin's eyes shifted. "I'll go take a look too."
"Hey, hey, hey! Sister Dong was subdued in two moves. Sister Han'er, I think you should forget it."
The girls all called out.
But Nie Han'er had already left.
Yet only a few minutes later, she returned with an especially strange expression.
"How did it go?" the girls asked.
"The front desk said there was no such coach."
"No? How could that be?"
"Could he be a coach or fighter from another boxing club? No wonder I'd never seen him before."
"Probably. Looks like we won't even get a chance to take revenge."
Zhuang Ruoxin snorted. "If I see him next time, I'll smash his head in. He was so arrogant—we have to avenge Little Dong."
Dong Pan only smiled weakly. "Forget it. I was too full of myself..."
After some brief conversation and concern, Dong Pan was sent back to rest.
In her current condition, she probably would not recover without resting for at least ten days to half a month.
The club's coaches were all stunned when they saw Dong Pan limping along. Only after she left did they begin whispering among themselves.
Some even went to check the surveillance footage.
Before long, word spread throughout the club.
"Did you hear? She-Dragon got beaten flat?"
"She-Dragon? You mean Dong Pan?"
"Who else? Every time she came, she'd challenge someone to box and throw down tens of thousands in cash. Yet no one had ever managed to take it."
Everyone who heard the news found it immensely satisfying.
The club's coaches all hated Dong Pan's guts, but they did not dare offend her.
She had always been outrageously arrogant. This time, she had finally run into someone tougher.
"Do you know who did it?"
"From the surveillance footage, he seemed to be a new customer. He only got his membership card this afternoon."
"A customer?"
Some impatient people also went to watch the footage.
When they saw the way Zhuang Xin threw his punches, they were all startled.
Some even pulled up the footage of Zhuang Xin training alone in the room. The sight of him drenched in sweat and the thunderous impacts against the heavy bag made their scalps tingle.
"That's terrifying."
"Yeah. I'm not joking—if that fist hit me, I wouldn't even grunt. I'd only get to take another punch in my next life."
