"Kakashi, take your time training. I'll be leaving first." After confirming that Hyuga Bin would not be coming to the training ground, Kurenai Yuhi prepared to leave.

Since Three-color mochi came in many flavors, Hyuga Bin had been eating it for years without getting tired of it.
"Sure, thanks." Kurenai Yuhi took the mochi and copied the way Hyuga Bin had eaten it earlier, swallowing an entire piece in one bite. As a result, her little mouth was stuffed full.
Unfortunately, the first one she ate was the sweet kind, with cream filling inside. Milky-white cream immediately overflowed from the corner of Kurenai Yuhi's mouth.

Kurenai Yuhi hurriedly covered her little mouth with her hand and chewed slowly.

"I'm used to eating them like that. Beginners like you are better off eating slowly." Hyuga Bin spoke with the air of a mochi veteran.
Kurenai Yuhi could not help laughing. "Hehe... Bin, you're really hilarious. If I'd talked with you more before, I definitely would've been much happier."
It was her first time hearing someone use the term "beginner" for eating.
"Your sense of humor is just too low." Hyuga Bin swallowed another piece of mochi in one bite and spoke as if nothing had happened.
"Then can you help train me?" Kurenai Yuhi asked Hyuga Bin.
"I'm a doctor. I only treat illnesses; I don't train people in eating techniques." Hyuga Bin shook his head.
"Fine, but even if I follow the method you just mentioned, the cream inside the mochi will spill out after I bite into it." Kurenai Yuhi thought for a moment before speaking.
"For mochi with cream inside, you can eat it another way. First, bite a small opening in it, then suck on it with your mouth. Swallow the cream first, then eat the mochi." Hyuga Bin taught Kurenai Yuhi another new way to eat mochi.
"Bin, you really know your stuff." After hearing Hyuga Bin's explanation, Kurenai Yuhi felt as though she had discovered a new continent.
"Nothing special. I've just done it a lot, so I have experience. If you try a few more times, you'll get good at it too." Hyuga Bin waved his hand, maintaining sufficient humility toward fine food.
"Alright, then I'll have to listen to you and do it a dozen more times in the future." Kurenai Yuhi looked directly at Hyuga Bin as he swallowed another piece of mochi. "But Bin, are you usually alone?"
"Mm."
"Isn't eating desserts alone boring?" Kurenai Yuhi did not like being alone. It felt lonely.
"Everyone thinks differently. I think being alone is pretty nice." Hyuga Bin smiled.
"Bin, besides mochi, what other desserts do you like?" Kurenai Yuhi continued taking the initiative to find topics to discuss with Hyuga Bin.
"My hobbies are pretty limited. Whenever I come to this shop, I basically just eat mochi. There are a lot of things I haven't tried yet." Hyuga Bin answered with a smile.
His hobby was like that of most devoted men: he only ever liked eighteen-year-old girls.
"Then you need to try some new flavors. Why don't you taste my cake?" Kurenai Yuhi scooped up a small piece of cake and held it to Hyuga Bin's mouth, signaling for him to open up, completely unconcerned that it was her spoon.
"Ah, thanks, but no." Hyuga Bin hurriedly refused. He was not very comfortable with such intimate behavior between ordinary female friends and himself.
"Try it. Maybe you'll like it." Seeing Hyuga Bin refuse, Kurenai Yuhi pouted, looking a little unhappy.

"Thanks, but I'll do it myself." Hyuga Bin released Kurenai Yuhi's hand, pulled out a tissue, and wiped his mouth.
Kurenai Yuhi's overly intimate behavior made Hyuga Bin feel that she was being rather calculatingly coy.
If he had not possessed the enhanced Byakugan, Hyuga Bin would have suspected that the girl in front of him had been replaced and was not the real Kurenai Yuhi.
