Background

Hyuga Bin was originally Li Bin, a young man from another world who transmigrated into the body of a newborn Hyuga branch-family child. He initially expected a “sign-in system” but, after two fruitless years, accepted that he would need to survive through training and aimed to become strong enough to avoid dying as wartime cannon fodder. 1

He trained from age two, awakening his Byakugan and learning the Gentle Fist. His early sparring partners included Uchiha Obito, Hatake Kakashi, and Might Guy; although he considered Kakashi the more naturally gifted fighter, Bin compensated through greater effort. 1

Bin entered the Ninja Academy in Class 1-1 alongside Kakashi, Obito, Nohara Rin, Yuhi Kurenai, and Sarutobi Asuma. He later joined Team 22 under Hyuga Masayuki with Obito and Rin, where he concealed his abnormal chakra reserves and combat ability until his teacher recognized them. 7 15
