Class Reunion!

Saturday, afternoon.

Hyuga Bin arrived at the party venue at the agreed-upon time.

By the time he got there, most of his classmates had already arrived.

Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Obito, Tobitake, Kurenai Yuhi, Sarutobi Asuma, Nohara Rin, Sawaki Minobu...

Including Hatake Kakashi, who had graduated early, a total of twenty people were participating in this class reunion.

Compared to the thirty graduates, eleven were missing. Some were still on border missions, while others had already fallen on the battlefield.

After paying the reunion fee, Hyuga Bin greeted everyone.

Hyuga Bin, on the other hand, gathered with Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Obito, and Nohara Rin.

They waited until everyone had arrived. Sarutobi Asuma, as the organizer, stepped up to give a speech.

It had to be said, Sarutobi Asuma, as the Hokage's son, had a way with words.

His brief speech elicited a wave of playful jeers from the audience.

As dusk settled, the gathering of old classmates concluded, and the moment Hyuga Bin had been most looking forward to arrived: dinner.

To liven things up, they were having hot pot for dinner.

On the way to the hot pot restaurant, Hatake Kakashi sidled up to Hyuga Bin. "Bin, didn't you say everyone had to perform something? Why hasn't anyone mentioned it?"

His relationships with other classmates were generally casual, so he had spent the entire reunion with Hyuga Bin, Nohara Rin, and Uchiha Obito.

"It's still early. We'll start performing one by one once we get to the restaurant," Hyuga Bin said, patting Hatake Kakashi's shoulder and signaling him not to rush.

Hatake Kakashi immediately felt like Hyuga Bin had tricked him. He quickly left Hyuga Bin and found Uchiha Obito. "Obito, what are you going to perform this time?"

"Ah... I'm going to perform a headstand while washing my hair," Uchiha Obito said, suppressing a laugh.

Uchiha Obito, being only a Chunin, lacked the endurance of a Jonin. He almost couldn't hold back his laughter with just that sentence.

"Obito, are you really going that far?" Hatake Kakashi was stunned upon hearing the words "headstand while washing hair."

After thinking it over carefully, Hatake Kakashi still felt something was off. He ran off again to ask Nohara Rin, "Rin, are we supposed to perform something at this class reunion?"

After the first time, Hatake Kakashi had clearly become smarter for his second inquiry.

"Yes, I plan to sing a song," Nohara Rin replied with a smile, then asked Hatake Kakashi, "Kakashi, what are you performing?"

"I'm reciting poetry," Hatake Kakashi said, clearly believing that performances were required.

After asking two people who were performing, including Nohara Rin, whom he trusted the most, Hatake Kakashi no longer doubted Hyuga Bin.

What he didn't know was that Nohara Rin and Uchiha Obito had already been bribed by Hyuga Bin the day before.

During dinner, before the dishes were served.

After Hatake Kakashi finished his poem, everyone applauded again.

In the past, Hatake Kakashi was seen as a genius by them all.

And genius implied a certain distance, an inability to fit in.

Now, Hatake Kakashi displayed an "approachable" side and even recited a poem about an affair, naturally drawing him closer to everyone.

As the main performer of the evening, Hatake Kakashi realized after his recitation that he had been tricked by Hyuga Bin, Nohara Rin, and Uchiha Obito.

He was truly grateful for his habit of wearing a mask, otherwise, it would have been too embarrassing, and he would have wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

As the dishes were served, the real lively gathering began.

Sarutobi Asuma, the initiator of this gathering, went around clinking glasses with his classmates and chatting for a bit before returning to his seat. His fiery gaze landed on Kurenai Yuhi, who was currently chatting with Nohara Rin.

"My old classmates, please hold on for a moment!"
