Li Yao passed the notebook around for everyone to read in turn. After looking through it, they realized... it was not even a notebook specifically meant for diaries. Besides, in this day and age... probably very few people still kept diaries.

People had gotten used to posting on Moments or Weibo whenever something happened.

Though now, people preferred posting on Douyin.

A selfie, some shadows, and a vague caption—thus were the foul men and women of the new era born.

But this diary was rather interesting.

April 29, Wednesday.

Damn it!

The world's changed, the world's changed! I, Zhou Dahua, have seen my share of things. I've seen plenty of fucked-up stuff since I was a kid, but I've never seen anything this fucked up.

I've seen rain, hail, even fish, shrimp, and banknotes fall from the sky, but I've never seen monsters fall from it... My first reaction was to post it on Moments, but after taking the picture, I finally realized!

The world had fucking changed!

Earth Online: Apocalypse had officially begun! I knew it. Everything had changed.

Fortunately, I've read plenty of apocalypse novels over the years. Somehow, I wasn't that panicked. I was even steady as hell.

Besides preparing basic supplies, I had to record everything I saw and heard... Maybe the people who came after me could use this notebook to glimpse what had once happened?
