Four hours later, Little Illusion finally sent word:
"Everything's perfectly normal. You know, I think this big fireball is really fun. I'm going to play here for a few days before going home."
She sounded quite excited. Apparently, she hadn't held a grudge over that home run earlier.
"You want to play for a few more days? Don't you want all the toys at home anymore?" Wenren Sheng said irritably.
Now that he knew the Sun itself was indeed fine, the question was: why could Earth no longer see any light? What had absorbed it? Or what had blocked it? A Black Hole could absorb light, while the Moon could block it.
But a Black Hole could not possibly appear near the Sun. If it did, the Sun itself would be gone.
What could be blocking the light? "Oh, right. Then I'll head back now," Little Illusion said dejectedly.
"Wait. Did you notice anything blocking the way while you were flying there?"
"I didn't see anything. I didn't feel anything at all," Little Illusion flatly denied.
"If there was nothing in space, then it must be on Earth. Something must have produced a Bizarreness Object that absorbed the Sun's light," Wenren Sheng mused.
There seemed to be many legends about such Bizarreness Objects, such as the heavenly dog devouring the Sun, or a banner covering the sky.
But with Prophecy Art unusable, how could they find it? This time, there was no arrogant spaceship pilot shouting clues at them.
Finding it would be easier said than done.
However, Wenren Sheng still knew one way. He had Shi Shi pull Aihandebu out of the Blacklist.
"Old Ai, do you know what happened to the sunlight?"
"I know, but why should I tell you?" Aihandebu's punchable voice came through again.
